Looks gud and works fine
Looks gud. Cooking ability is also great, one suggestion is to improve quality of inner pot in the rice cooker. Inner pot is also fine but its quality can be improved more.

Have been using rice cookers for Long — This Is the Best One Yet
Tried many rice cookers over the years but was never fully satisfied,- until I discovered cuckoo, known as the no.1 rice cooker brand globally. After doing some research, I decided to buy this model, and I’m genuinely impressed. The build quality is excellent, and at this price point, it is great value for money. It features a non stick pot, which is far better than the usual aluminum ones, both for cooking and cleaning. Keep Warm function works perfectly and keeps rice fresh for hours after cooking, an essential feature for daily use. Though it is rated at 700 watts, it’s surprisingly energy efficient with fast cooking times. I have used lower wattage cookers 450W, but they took much longer. The CUCKOO has solid insulation, so the body stays cool to touch even while cooking. The best feature is the detachable top lid, which makes cleaning incredibly easy. This is something I haven’t seen in any other brand. No more awkward wiping with cloth, - just detach, rinse, and reattach. Super hygienic and hassle-free. All in all, a definite 5-star product. If you love rice, this is a must-buy!

Bad quality.. not once but twice!!
Brought this rice cooker twice and both times the base plate that heats the rice vessel just melted while using the rice cooker and the rice cooker stopping working so rice were half cooked. Bad quality.. don’t waste money buying this product.

Best Rice Cooker
I bought a 3.5-litre, 1.2kg, 700-watt Cuckoo electric rice cooker from Amazon, and it was the best decision of my life. Whenever I make rice in it, the rice turns out perfect—as long as you use the correct water measurements. Otherwise, the rice might slightly stick to the base. While cooking, a red light is on, and once the rice is done, the orange light stays on to keep it warm. But once the rice is cooked, you should switch it off. When you want to eat hot rice again, just turn on the orange light about 5 minutes before, and it will reheat. The rice stays warm till the end, and if you leave it on the orange (keep warm) mode, it can stay hot for up to 4 hours. I got it for ₹2,990, and I’m extremely happy that now, in India, we can enjoy Korean-style hot rice. You can also cook many other things in it. It comes with separate utensils for steaming—you can even steam momos in it. So far, it’s the best product I’ve used. For me, it’s a 5 out of 5. Super happy with the product! Made this Yummilicious Pulao in the rice cooker and it was super delicious

I bought this rice cooker as a birthday present for my son, who's enrolled in culinary school right now. In the past week, he's used it--to make perfect jasmine rice--twice. He can't stop talking about how much he *loves* the cooker! The machine "talks" to you, in default Korean. You can program it to switch to either English or Chinese (?) Not sure if that's Mandarin or Cantonese because the printed instruction booklet just calls it "Chinese" & I don't speak either Mandarin or Cantonese. I'd love to change the voice to an "English" one; however, my son is dating a Korean woman & finds the voice very soothing. I think eventually he'll understand what "she" is saying! :>) I feel I can make decent rice in a pot on the stove. However, this cooker does hold up to 6 cups of *uncooked* rice, which makes about 14 cups of cooked rice in less than 25 minutes. When I make jasmine rice on the stovetop, that amount of uncooked rice would take close to 25 minutes just to come to a boil, let alone cook & then rest to absorb the water. It has a removable insert that must be handwashed only, and also has an included (plastic?) small rice paddle for serving the rice. Not sure of what material the rice paddle is; only know that even though I bought a silicone Zwilling rice paddle for my son, he says the Korean paddle is a better shape & prefers the smaller rice scoop. This cooker also cooks other grains, like oats (to make oatmeal); GABA (brown rice that's been soaked in water to have it "sprout"); and even quinoa, I believe. Because it's a pressure cooker too, it can make dishes like beef stew also! The only drawback to using it as a pressure cooker is that the insert is only 3 quarts. Obviously, a beef stew would be enough for 2-3 people only. Overall this rice cooker works really well, and I love the taste (and perfume!) of the rice. For anyone who eats a lot of grains and would like a faster way to cook them, I recommend this rice cooker.

This Cuckoo rice cooker is well designed and priced competitively to compare well with Big Japan rice cookers. Our household eats white rice almost every day, and we have experienced many cookers from multiple companies. We decided to look at high tier rice cookers with pressure cooking & induction heating because we eat rice every single day and wanted to know if we were missing something special. Browsing Amazon, the only pressure induction rice cookers I found were by Cuckoo and Zojirushi, with Zojirushi costing about $200 more than the Cuckoo cookers. I decided to give the Korean brand a try. Initial impressions: I don't speak Korean, how do I make this cooker be quiet? Ok, I found a way to mute the voice. The rice cooker needs to be cleaned by using the steam function before its first use to get rid of some of the new plastic smell. Very heavy and solidly built. The cooking process is louder than any normal rice cooker because of the pressure. The cooking pot feels hefty and definitely gives off a durable vibe. This rice cooker is very versatile. If you take a deep dive into the instruction manual, there are 16 modes of cooking plain white rice. 16!! The default mode leaves the rice dense and sticky, which is kind of enjoyable already, but you can change both the soaking time or heating temperature during the cooking process (with 4 variable options) for a more chewy and light texture. Since you can cook so many textures of rice, it's a lot easier to stomach eating rice daily. It's been a month and we've cooked white rice with this cooker at least 20 times now. Cuckoo's rice is completely customizable, so you can have sticky rice one day, and fluffy rice the next. It's really nice to have that flexibility, and we haven't even tried the other modes yet. The pressure gives the white rice a special kind of texture (fluffier and stickier) that I didn't find in cheaper models and we love it. The improvement is distinguishable, but it's not a world of difference. Maybe 5-10% better. Speaking strictly about cooking white rice in this review, this Cuckoo cooker won't disappoint, and hopefully it continues to make us rice for years to come. Edit: It’s 2025 and this rice cooker is still chugging along! I have settled on setting 2 for soak time and setting 3 for heat. We use it almost daily and it’s been the best white rice I’ve had, even when I go out I’m indirectly comparing this rice to theirs! Haven’t needed to replace the pot either, I just clean the pot with water and a washcloth. I bought a friend a smaller Cuckoo IH/pressure rice cooker which should be comparable and honestly this cooker makes way better rice 😳

This is my first time purchasing a Cuckoo rice cooker and I'm extremely impressed. There are some minor caveats/things to bear in mind when you buy this, but TL;DR: this is a solid rice cooker and I haven't made better rice with any other rice cooker. First, the design is sleak -- the back w/ rose gold goes well with most of our appliances, and adds a nice bit of accent color to the kitchen. My only complaint about the external design is how thin some of the platic feels to the touch. This doesn't 'feel' like a product in its price point; it feels much cheaper. I could imagine this breaking irreparably if dropped. The built-in voices are fun -- being greeted with a little jingle and hearing a voice notify me of each stage of the cooking process is really nice, in spite of being more of a 'fun' thing than a practical one. The voice is in multiple languages, and can be disabled entirely. Again, a bit over-the-top, but it has its function of offering me the freedom to work about the kitchen without constantly checking the rice cooker. This particular rice cooker is non-stick while avoiding the use of teflon. I do not have burnt rice stuck on the bottom of the bowl -- instead, I get consistent rice to my liking from top to bottom, and I don't need to worry about chips of teflon in my food. It has a self-sanitizing feature, that will use hot water to sanitize itself. It should be noted the self-sanitizing is not self-cleaning. In other words, you still need to detach the various plates and components to sufficiently clean the unit. One should not rely on this feature alone to keep their rice cooker clean and in good condition. Speaking of components, there are multiple components that are detachable for cleaning purposes, specifically in the lid. This is a pressure rice cooker, and the various lids and steam filters need cleaning. This is fine and dandy, but the first plate in the lid really requires some strength. It is held in by a thick rubber gromet with a tiny rubber handle, which you can pull to remove the plate. The rubber handle is small and smooth, so people with big fingers/hands will struggle getting a decent grip on it, and people with smaller fingers and hand may struggle with the amount of force required to detach it. It is areas in the design like this and the plastic enclosure where cuckoo made clear design decisions to save on production costs. Luckily, none of these things detract from the quality of the product it yields. I have NEVER cooked better straight rice out of the rice cooker than I have with this. There are several cooking modes to choose from -- most folks will use the glutinous rice setting, which has 3 settings of its own - normal, high heat, and turbo. Normal mode will cook the rice in around 40 minutes High heat will cook the rice in about 30 Turbo will cook it in about 20 The quality degrades the higher power you use -- but not by much. The worst 'quality' rice I got was using the turbo setting for glutinous rice -- it was only slightly tougher than what I'd have preferred, but if I'm in a pinch for time, the turbo mode yields rice that is good enough. Normal mode seems to have the best yield, as the rice is evenly cooked from top to bottom. There are zero 'hard' pieces of rice, nor a collection of burnt rice on the bottom of the bowl, reducing waste. Each grain is soft and is as sticky as I want. It's important to note there are timed modes, as well as ways to customize each option's cook settings, so you can tweak the presets to suit your needs. All in all, this is one of the best cooking appliances I've purchased in awhile.

If you love Korean/Japanese rice, this rice cooker perfectly cooks it. What a difference from my old rice cooker. Just beware, a big stack for instructions (3 languages). I still haven't figured out how to get it to speak English. Default is Korean. More pressing matter is cook rice. There is an option to keep rice warm and turbo cook it. It looks really beautiful, too. I bought the 3-cup version. The larger ones seem to be better value for your money.
