Cooling Ice Vest with 20pcs Ice Pack - Cooling Vest with Adjustable Strap Cool Vest with Pockets

I work in the Sout Carolina heat often for the whole day. This vest helps keep me cool. The ice packs last a few hours and I replace them with extras I store in my portable fridge/freezer. Part of my job I do drive a small machine and the back 2 packs leak from the pressure of me leaning on them and the backnof the seat. I didn't really mind because it cooled me even more. I will replace all of the ice packs as they leak with the rectangle plastic ice packs. My guess is they will stay frozen longer.

Helps on very hot days. Need to replace ice packs every hour and a half,It works as expected. It doesn't keep you "cold" but does help be less hot. Use it during the hottest part of the day and it does help to not sweat so much. Keeps your core a bit cooler.Wish it could stay frozen longer.

We live in Florida and the heat and humidity make it hard to be outside in the summer for any amount of time. We also live on an acreage which needs to be mowed. I got this for my husband to wear while doing yard work. He was skeptical at first, but once I got it on him, he really liked it. Now my FIL wants one, lol. Like others have mentioned, the included ice packs aren't made from the strongest plastic, but they do include the gel. I just put them in another zip bag so that if they do break, they are contained. We have had one break, but now he knows the best way to lean back. lol. This is such a great idea for anyone, crossing guards, road workers, anyone who spends a lot of time outside.

If it is hot out then this vest will definitely keep you cool. I tried using one of those cool vests you put in water and wring out and put on. It felt like wearing a big wet chamois cloth. Kinda yucky.So I tried this. The vest is very nice and has extra pockets for storage other than the six big pockets built in for ice blocks. They give you twenty plastic bags to make ice blocks. Each bag has a built in kind of funnel for filling the bags which you then lay flat in your freezer to freeze. Now I didn't use those as I get frozen shipping packs with my medications. Each one is about the same size as the water packs. You put one in each of four pockets on the back and one each on the front of the vest.The vest gets very heavy with all the ice packs... probably close to ten pounds. But suck it up because it really does keep you cool and is worth every pound. You can even take a small cooler with you filled with ice blocks to put in when the current ones start to get warm.Speaking of warm, you can also use this vest during winter and put HotHands body warmers in the pockets.I really like this vest but it is very expensive at about forty dollars. To each his own.

This product is very helpful for hot days. The ice packs fit nicely inside the pockets and it comes with plenty of ice packs to cover the front and back of your body. You do have to fill the ice packs yourself the first time and they seem to not leak at all. I found that it fits me nicely. I do wish that the material of the vest was a little more breathable. At times it feels like the vest makes me feel hotter but then the ice pack offsets the added heat due to the vest.

Holds gel packs for school lunches and frozen water bottles too. Smelled like fish when i opened but sprayed with lysol and put outside for a day. All good.

The idea of this product is a good one. We live in central Texas and the heat is excessive, so I thought this cooling vest would be a great product for my husband who also works outside some days. Unfortunately the ice packs aren't very good ice packs. They don't have good instructions in English. I figured it out but if you put too much water in the pack it becomes bloated and won't even fit in the pocket pouch on the vest. Too little and it is pointless and defrosts too quickly. If you purchase better ice packs, the vest itself will still work and provides the pockets in the right places. I don't recommend this product by this seller.
