Perfect for all types of riders
Love these pedals for my bike. Easy to install, easy to use and clip into. Comfort is great, not too heavy. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them.

Great product at an even better price
Just what I would expect from Crankbrothers at an unbeatable price. Paired with fast shipping, I could not be happier.

Very good product - I do recommend
I have these on my MTB and primarily ride over the river and through the woods. They are well built - I have a couple of years on them and they are holding up very well. Easy to clip in and out. They have enough flexibility to let me find the right angles ... so my knees don't work after a long day of riding. Prior to this set, I had another set of Crank Brothers. They too lasted a long time, but I hit a rock with the pedal and thus the need for replacement (my fault). Obviously I recommend.

New Gravel Bike Needed Good Pedals
I have a pair of egg beaters for my MTB and needed pedals for my new Lynskey gravel bike and I have been really happy with these. The work great and they look great too. The red really pops.

Great first pair or budget clipless pedals
I have 2 pairs of candy 1s and use them on my commuter and cross/gravel bikes. These are the most budget version, but that really doesn’t mean much since the bearings are the identical across the product line. What make these great for beginners is the fact there are no external spring tension adjustments that need to be fiddled with. This may upset people who like to fine tune their pedals, but it also means less maintenance. Likewise, this means mud can’t get stuck in those adjustment points because they don’t exist. The one issue I have is with the cleats, they are brass and wear faster than others. What people should also consider is the rebuild kit for these pedals + new cleats costs about the same as simply buying a new set of candy 1s. I personally rebuild them as it is less wasteful and easy to do. For some it may be a good idea to spring for the candy 3s if they plan on keeping them for a long time and make the rebuild process easier to swallow when comparing it to the cost of new pedals. It terms of ride quality they are on par with comparable welgo and Shimano pedals, and there are different cleat options to get the float dialed in. In terms of reliability my commuter pair has a little over 2k miles on them and are still feeling new. I do expect to have to change the bearings in the next thousand miles or so, but for being on the inexpensive side and being exposed to all 4 seasons including heavy rain I’m okay with that.

Tough and Durable
These pedals are my go-to brand and model for road bike pedals. They are durable and very simple to clip into. I appreciate that they still include the new metal inserts with each pair, which I replace anytime my pedals wear out. Top tip: if you are having trouble clipping into your pedals, check the shoe inserts…it’s usually that little metal piece that has gotten worn down. Will continue to buy crank bros equipment.

Awesome
These are my first clipless pedals and are amazing since the first ride. I lost my fear about being clipped to my bike and yes, I got a dumb fall at the very beginning but then, practicing just one ride I was confortable and locked ready to ride a lot of miles. The size is perfect and the grip is amazing, doing bunny hops and technical parts clipped is another word.
