Great multipurpose tool. kills weeds, melts ice, repairs asphalt. If you turn the burner upside down it acts as a great deck light but you have to use care so that it doesn't fall over. It did light one of my wicker chairs on fire. No one was sitting there at the time.

I loved the idea of being able to blast those pesky weeds out of existence. This works if you want to do one weed at a time. When you have weeds growing between sidewalk slabs, in rocks, etc., the flame is way too small to make any impact. It took me about 30 minutes to clear about 25 feet of weeds in my driveway. Great concept, but poor execution. There are torches with a much bigger flame that should work fine for weeding

The flame is too weak to be effective on ice and it is too small to be effective on weeds in the cracks of my driveway. It is a little hard to get lit.

Gets rid of weeds that cannot be gotten rid of without heavy chemicals. Just be careful to water down the area afterwards or the embers can catch fire during the heat of the summer. We have ordered a second one as a gift for my son to use in his yard.

The shut off value doesn't work. I have to remove the canister to get the torch to turn off. It would be nice if there was a quality check before mailing. I received it and the shut off valve was stripped. It works great on weeds but I won't purchase again because of the lack of quality checks.

I should've bought a more powerful one. Works ok if you don't have many weeds your trying to kill. It is light weight and easy to handle but if you have a real weed problem you might think about something larger.

Am going to experiment with getting rid of some invasive burmuda grass. But even if it doesn't work for that, I can still use this in my large gardens.
