Extendable Corded Curtain Pole Set - 120-213cm Satin Silver colour - 28mm diameter - CLEARANCE

Looked like a good pole when it arrived, but from there things went downhill, firstly the pole would not extend, eventually brute force won and the pole extended, it actually took that much effort that the finial came off, once extended there was a visible sticky film on the inner pole which must have been holding the inner pole in. Put the brackets up and while the inner pole does fit into a bracket it is not at the same distance from the wall when the outer pole is clipped into the other three brackets. Next step was to set the master slides etc. and hang the curtains which bought me to the last problem, the left hand side opened and closed perfectly but the right hand side kept jamming and would not close by pulling the cord, strangely it opened with no issues. Close inspection revealed that the runners catch the end of the inner pole and jam.Just noticed that all the positive reviews are quite old the most recent being September last year, so is it the same pole?

Arrived quickly. Easy to put up and adjust. Plastic support brackets seem a bit flimsy but hold the pole firmly enough. Pleased with the purchase.

Disappointed with plastic wall fittings but the pole appears ok - not fitted it yet. Only kept it because it's for a 'little used' bedroom and too much hassle to send it back.

Easily fitted, lovely looking. Shame it's not available in a longer size

My husband fitted very easily. Much cheaper than other similar products. Works really well- bought extra hooks from same supplier. Would recommend.
