So I bought this rice in May 2021 and I’ve just today started to run out (I generally follow a low carb diet). I love this rice it tastes amazing and it’s easy to cook imo, literally bring to the boil and then a low heat for 25 minutes, so I came back to re-order following the same link from my previous purchase. I paid £3.55 for this and now it’s almost £20?! I’m aware of the global rice shortage that’s likely affecting the cost but goodness, it’s over 300% more! I’ll probably buy the non organic one and see how I get on with that as it’s slightly cheaper and I really do love this brand, but never thought I’d see a day where I’d have to move things around in my shopping budget for rice! I hope the prices come back down soon :)

Brought this for my vegetarian in laws and immediately was bowled over for the price I got it for £3.33 for three kilos. I thought it was a mistake, but when it finally came, the price was the same. Went to buy again, gone up to £13. Rice was delicious and they asked for more. Just have to keep my eyes out for another mistake.

Apparently a good quality rice with a good flavour but recommendations for cooking would have been preferred without having to resort to a cookery book or the Web for the information. Rice that is apparently identical but from different brands can need vastly different cooking times; some recommend a long soak after a quick rinse while other suggest several rinses and draining in-between etc - specific product-related instructions would have been useful. Did not rinse other than to remove any grit etc, brought to boil with enough water to cover and a little salt; simmered for about 28-30 minutes and seemed OK. Other food products have been previously purchased from the brand but none of them were of rice.

Good packaging, which is re-sealable. Taste was great, cooking time was a little longer than I'd expected but the taste was great. This brown Basmati rice is suitable for type 2 diabetics.

Not happy about giving a rating but will give one for quick delivery . I have bought this rice many times and have loved its nutty taste. However I will not be buying it again because the last order I received smelt of soil when cooking and is completely tasteless. So very disappointed

This is my first experience with brown basmati rice. And it has become my favourite rice - it tastes wholesome and has a nuttier taste that white basmati rice. It is slightly al dente, which I prefer to results from white basmati of a similar cooking time. We rinse it once before cooking. My wife has recently mixed this rice (50/50) with white basmati, but the flavour still comes through. I think the product is good value for money and I will buy it again.
