Very Good
Bought these for my husband who’s taken up swimming more regularly. Water trapped in his ears was a common problem, but these have eradicated it.Very good quality and highly recommended.

Will only work if they fit your ears.
Like all these types of earplugs, they only work properly if they fit your ears perfectly. Personally, I’ve ended up with different makes for each ear & the sizes vary from make to make also. One just has to persevere to find what works for you, or stop swimming and showering! These do work for one of my ears, but having to buy so many different makes rather negates the need for the case.

Comfortable Ear Plugs but Poor Durability
I recently purchased the Alpine WaterSafe Pro Ear Plugs for Surfing and Swimming, and while they started off promising, I was ultimately disappointed by their durability. Here’s my detailed review:What I Like:• Comfortable Fit: The ear plugs are very comfortable to wear, even for long sessions in the water. They fit snugly without causing irritation, making them ideal for swimming and surfing.• Good Water Protection: Initially, they performed well at keeping water out of my ears, helping to prevent ear infections and discomfort during and after water activities.• Secure Hold: The plugs stayed in place during active use, even while swimming, diving, or surfing, which is a key feature for any water sports gear. What I Dislike:• Poor Durability: After less than a year of use — and fewer than 50 water sessions — the magnets rusted. This made the ear plugs unusable and unsafe to wear.• Not Built for Long-Term Use: Considering they are designed for water sports, I expected better resistance to moisture and corrosion. The rusting issue is disappointing, especially for a product marketed as premium.• Price vs Longevity: Given the relatively high price, I expected better durability. Needing to replace them after limited use makes them a poor long-term investment.Value for Money:While the Alpine WaterSafe Pro Ear Plugs are comfortable and effective at first, their short lifespan significantly affects their overall value for money. For a premium-priced product, better longevity is expected. Conclusion:Overall, I was initially pleased with the Alpine WaterSafe Pro Ear Plugs for their comfort and performance in the water. However, the major durability issue — rusted magnets after less than a year — makes them a disappointing purchase, also magnets doesn't work anymore. They may work well for short-term or occasional use, but if you plan to use them regularly, they may not last.Would I buy it again? No, I would look for a more durable alternative.

Comfortable, secure and don't affect your hearing.
I spend a lot of time in, on and under water, year round, and often in cold and windy conditions which makes me a prime candidate for getting Surfer's Ear. I've never been a fan of ear plugs though as I don't like the blocked up sensation they give me and they can make using radios difficult as well as you can't hear. These Alpine ones though are great. First, they don't block your ears. They barely affect your hearing at all as they have a hole running right through the middle. The outside of the plugs is a fine mesh made from a water repellent material that allows sound through but resists water entry. This cuts out that pain that you can get from cold wind and spray but you can still hear. There is a tiny reduction in what you can hear, but it's barely noticable ad you will quickly forget your're wearing them.if you go under water, then water still enters your ear but at a vastly reduced level and it trickles in very slowly rather than blasts in at full pressure. The ear plugs once they have water it do block entirely and your haearing is reduced with a sensation pretty much identical to the one you get when your ears have water in them. This is a minor problem because the plugs are so comfortable that you forget your are wearing them and a few times I tried to wiggle my finger against my ear to clear the 'water' and nearly popped the plugs out. After a few minutes the water will drain from the plugs and you can hear again. The plugs are very secure in use, with a 'wing' design that hooks into the folds of your ears. I've tried these surfing, open water swimming, and body surfing and they've been rock solid. There is a cord included too for extra security if you want to use it. As I've mentioned they are also incredibly comfortable and you will forget your wearing them, especially if you're not submerging your head. They are brilliant plugs. My only, tiny, gripe is that they're not in a brigher colour because I know I'm going to lose these somewhere and I will be upset when it happens. Comfortable, very secure, and very effective and they don't block your hearing. Excellent quality and very highly recomended.
