I have a camper van and installed the Ecoflow charger myself. It’s easy to fit and use and very functional for its intended use. It comes on immediately once I start the van engine. I have a Delta2 Max and it charges very quickly whilst I drive. But whilst it says a maximum of 800w charging capacity I have dialled mine down in the app to a more modest 400w, so as not to overload the alternator. It can be set at what you want up to 800w but the suggestions on some YouTube channels are not to run it at full capacity in order to protect the alternator, unless of course you have upgraded your actual vehicles Alternator to a higher spec. I haven’t yet but will do in the near future. (This itself can be done either yourself or a vehicle mechanic).. . All the dialling down does is increase the charging time, but if you’re on a long journey it won’t matter. It will of course switch off once your Ecoflow battery pack is fully charged. It appears to be well built, although the “on” button is tiny and sits flush with the case making it perhaps a little difficult for someone with sausage fingers. Its weight comes in at a modest 2.2kg. All in all I’d say do your homework” and you will be able to make good use of the Ecoflow Alternators intended purpose.

I went for the 800 just because you can charge your vehicle battery if it runs flat plus you can set how much power you want to receive from your alternator so for me it’s a win win

Great bit of kit, easy to fit. This is a game changer. My Delta 2 charges in no time at all.

Ordered and delivered on timein fact it came days early. It's a sturdy bit of kit and comes with all the cables required. This allowed me to connect from my van battery to the charger then to my ecoflow delta 2 power battery. It was fairly easy to install and now charges my power battery when I'm driving. Because it does this I can charge phones, run lights and other electrical items like kettles etc in my converted ( camper) van.

Works, however it regularly dissconects from wifi/bluetooth, and gets very hot. The connectivity issues could be my phone, but surely it should not get quite as hot as it does. I'm still happy with it, but I think you need to be aware of where you locate it in your vehicle, as in plenty of air, and not near anything heat sensitive.

Fantastic device fitted to my VW T5. Charges my Ecoflow Delta Plus in just over a hour at 800W. No issues with alternator, thought I may have to dial back the charging rate, but it is fine. Supplied cable to battery just is long enough to reach the van battery, fed along roofline to A pillar and then through firewall and across to the battery, in the channel behind the wiper motor. The Ecoflow App which covers both devices is excellent.

With this, I never run out of power, and if I do, a 30-minute drive re-energises the power unit . I never paid full price for this as I got it on a deal, but after using it, I would do so if it ever gave up the ghost. Free power while driving who doesn't need that !!

Le chargeur d’alternateur EcoFlow de 800 W est vraiment une excellente trouvaille ! Ce chargeur rapide 3 en 1 (charge / charge inversé / maintenance) est parfait pour toutes sortes de besoins. Je l’utilise avec ma batterie EcoFlow Delta Max lors de mes Roadtrip en 4x4 aménagé, et je suis vraiment impressionné par sa performance et vitesse de charge (2h à 800Watts). La compatibilité avec la Delta Max est impeccable. Le chargement est non seulement rapide, mais aussi super fiable. Que ce soit pour une recharge rapide en déplacement ou pour maintenir la batterie chargée pendant des périodes prolongées, ce chargeur fait le travail à merveille. L’installation est un jeu d’enfant, et il est vraiment pratique de pouvoir passer d’une fonction à l’autre sans aucun problème grace à l'application EcoFlow. La qualité de fabrication est au top, et il semble conçu pour durer, même dans des conditions d’utilisation intenses (utilisé en plain desert avec beaucoup de poussière). En résumé, si vous avez une batterie EcoFlow Delta Max ou toute autre batterie compatible, ce chargeur est un excellent choix pour que vous soyez autonome en electricité. Je recommande vivement pour sa polyvalence et sa performance !

Ich habe den Booster im Wohnmobil als Ergänzung zu meiner Delta Max 2000 verbaut. Endlich eine sinnvolle Lösung, wenn es darum geht, die Powerstation nicht über den Zigarettenanzünder mit nur max. 100W zu laden. Jetzt ist da richtig Power dahinter. Das Gerät tut genau was es soll. Die Montage ist wirklich einfach: - die + Leitung und die - Leitung an der Starterbatterie anklemmen - den Booster mit dem Kabel verbinden - den Motor starten - den Booster einschalten - das update durchführen - den Booster in der App anmelden und konfigurieren - den Booster mit der Powerstation verbinden Alles läuft wunderbar.
