The best bang for the buck
The best bang for the buck for my Grizzly jointer. Cheaper and considerably better quality than I could buy from the vendor. I love Freud saw blades, so I expected high quality in the knives and I was not disappointed. The edge was very good and I did not have to do any finish sharpening prior to installation.

Great value!
I bought these after reading several good reviews on various sites and am very happy with the product. If I was rating the packaging, I would give amazon a 2 or a 1 star, but this is a product review, so I will stick to the product. I bought my Jet 6-inch jointer used and knew that at some point I would have to replace the knives. I thought about sticking with the OEM knives, but was put off by the price and I have had good luck with Freud in the past. I'm glad I saved the several hundred dollars by buying the standard jointer instead of the deluxe with the "quick-change" knives. These were easy to replace and much cheaper than the Jet quick-change knives. After jointing a bunch of maple, walnut and cocobolo, I'm happy to report that they are still very sharp and working well. Save your money for other woodworking toys and get these aftermarket knives, you'll be glad you did!

They will take an edge
So in my opinion these things come dull as a fart. I stop honing my edges when I can shave with them. The wife can always tell when its been a tune-up day for my edge tools when my left arm is shaved halfway up. That said, these will take an edge very nicely and were pretty straight. I use a granite surface plate, wet sand paper, and a home made knife holding jig. I don't know that any knife would be perfect right out of the box, but these are reasonably priced, made in Italy, and very serviceable.

Good value for the price, knives can be modified
I had to order these for an old 70's vintage 130mm jointer. I had no problems grinding them to the size I needed. If you need to do the same my advice is as follows: - Use a rotary grinding wheel and go SLOW - Every 5-8 seconds dip the hot end of the knives in USED motor oil for a ten-count. Used motor oil has higher carbon content and will help keep the temper. - Check length often to ensure you don't over-grind. - Use vice grips to hold all three knives at once, ensuring blades are even. - Grind from only one end, and make sure it's the end you plan to use LEAST since it will loose some of its temper. - WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND HEAVY GLOVES! I've used the knives in my jointer quite a bit since I got them (100+ linear feet, mostly old oak). Even with having ground them they seem to be keeping an edge.

Poor quality for Freud
I bought these because they were far cheaper than the OEM replacements and I've had excellent results with Freud table saw blades and router bits. I can't believe these are sold under their brand name. They are junk. I bought a decent used Jet planer and put these knives in it. I used a dial indicator to try to dial in the height of the blades. I had so much trouble trying to level the blades I thought the table was warped and skewing my readings. Eventually I checked the blades on a machined straightedge and used some feeler gauges, I could see that the blades had peaks and valleys that had more than .015" of variance. When the jointer is supposed to be one of the few truly precision tools in your shop, this is just not acceptable. I will be finding a sharpener to refurb the original blades on this jointer.

Works very good
Just got that set of 6’ blades for jointer I picked up on marketplace. The old knifes were dented but I was still able to put them to work. Decided to order replacement to make sure I’m getting the best results. I also took advantage of the knifes replacement to make sure everything is square and true. Replacing the knifes had huge improvement on the machine. It sounds like rocket now. Still don’t know how long they would last but if you already going to that process (long) it’s better to invest in good name brand.

True size, but sharpness an issue
The size of these knives is accurate. They are about 1/16" shorter in length than my factory Jet jointer blades, and maybe 1/64" shorter in height, neither of which is consequential. My only issue with them is that they are not as sharp as I expected from Freud, which I realize is subjective. Let me illustrate: if I tossed one of these blades in the air, I could catch it bare handed and not worry about cutting my hand. By comparison, I always wear gloves when changing the blades of my planer, because those knives are extremely sharp out of the package. I write this as someone who has a stack of Freud table saw and radial arm saw blades, which I dearly love. Now, they edge-cut well on the jointer, but that is today--will they cut as well two months from now? I do not know, but I'll try to keep you informed.

Arrived in acceptable box and bubble wrap packaging. The blades were in perfect condition and very sharp. Installed these on a king Canada kc70fx. After a bit of fine tune adjustments, these blades cut just as good as the OEM blades. Will buy these again in the future.

I bought these to have on hand... They are definitely VERY sharp! My only complaint is that there was a tiny little bit of surface rust on them. They were definitely new and not a return (could tell by the packaging) I think that it was just whatever coating they had on them that had dried up, so I just gave them a little cleanup and sprayed them with some PTFE to store them 'til I need them.
