What a knife! My wife uses it on our sourdough loaf with a crusty exterior even freshly baked. It does cut superbly only thing size matters! This knife is very long wife had quite a shock when we took it out of the box we used to a normal standard size bread knife this is exceptionally long and because of that you only need one or 2 cups at the most for it to slice through used it for several weeks now and still can’t get over how sharp it is a great knife

A beautiful knife, worthy of its price category. Comfortable, medium weight in the hand and capable of undertaking any kitchen prep tasks, from a large honeydew melon to trimming a spring onion, from crusty loaf to birthday cake perfect slices every time. Caution - Very very sharp, keep away from kids or vulnerable adults.

Best knife I have extremely sharp so be careful! Crusty bread no problem soft cake not being squished and you don't get your fingers crushed by the handle can't go in the dishwasher had wash only

After several disappointments with other brands that I had to return for being blunt, I am very happy with this bread knife. It effortlessly cuts clean and straight slices without dangerous skipping on the crust or dragging the soft inside that I experienced from other brands. The handle is comfortable and well balanced. It has a full tang, which I consider essential for a 10" blade and it's very well made of good quality steel. I'm giving it 4 stars because I'm not entirely convinced about the slightly curved shape, I feel a straight blade would cut through my whole 10" wide loaf more effectively, but I am overall calling this knife a winner and a steal for the price.

Decided I needed a quality knife to slice my home made bread having perfected consistency of bake through many months of trial and error. Believe everything you read about this knife. It slices through a loaf with hardly any pressure and the mere hint of a sawing action. With an appropriate jig or guide frame you can slice thin enough to see through (if that's what you want) It is insanely sharp and must be treated with through utmost repect. I have not tried the paper or melon test yet and as the knife is new have no idea how successfully it can be honed or re sharpened. I am more than pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

Ich habe das Messer aufgrund einer Testsieger-Bewertung gekauft. Es ist ein schönes und scharfes Messer, liegt gut in der Hand.

Das Brot schneidet man mit dem Messer wie Butter. Selbst durch eine harte Kruste. Selten so „dünne“ Scheiben mit einem Messer geschnitten. Absolute Empfehlung.

Wirklich ein tolles Brotmesser. Sehr scharf und schneidet auch weicheres Brot mit harter Kruste ohne es zu zerdrücken.

Messer ist sehr scharf. Bei Brotlaibe mit harte Kruste, schneidet das Messer gut, aber vom Gefühl her, geht der Schnitt nicht gerade durchs Brot sondern wird schief. (gefühlt nach links) Für diesen Preis ist die Qualität ok, ich hatte mir aber eine bessere Qualität vorgestellt und erwartet; und zwar einen akkuraten Schnitt.

Das Messer hat die Richtige Größe für einen Bauernlaub! Es ist Rasiermesser Scharf und liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Ich kann es nur jeden empfehlen!
