What is the length and diameter of the nail?

About the same diameter as a 6 penny nail, ~3/4" long

Has anyone tried these on the bottom of a cutting board? I’m just wondering if they would fall out since it’s not a screw.

I dont think it will fall out, but I think the cutting board would slip or basically move depending what you are cutting on it, because it is acrylic more like plastic so you would have to use rag or some kind of non skiding material. I hope this will help. Thanks

Can these be used outside on patio furniture

Yes, I used these on a nine piece Amazonia patio set. They nail easily in the wood. For the heavier table I used two per table leg. They prevent moisture from wicking up the wood and also they now actually slide much easier.

can i use these under a heavy 3-seater couch, instead of the couch legs?

The way your question reads - no. Each protector is about the size of a quarter. You nail a protector to the bottom of each leg. We have hardwood floors and they easily slide across the floor. I have them on a solid oak three-seat couch; it is very heavy and the are working just fine. I drilled a tiny little pilot hole for each protector to assure that it seated correctly without any damage to the wood.
