First, I am not a girly girl. I do WAY too much gardening to even paint my nails. But every once in awhile, you need to be fancy for an event. Back in February, I got acrylic tips put on my nails during a spa day with my sister and daughter. Four weeks later I had them removed which complete trashed my natural nails. I spent the next almost 3 months trying to get them past the weak, splitting, cracking condition that they were left in. They FINALLY grew the nail beds out so the nails would be stronger but I wanted to protect the nails because I do a lot of gardening and every time I was done I had to cut them all the way back. So I started seeing these ads for CurvLife nails on Facebook. I never buy anything on FB but I did find them on Amazon. I decided, after reading the reviews that I would give them a try. I ordered a pretty pink set French manicure look (this review), a fancier pink set that has some special nails in the set and a set that are like muted rainbow colors, with supposedly enough to create a staggered look of the colors. First, make sure your nails are clean. Do a quick wipe with alcohol or polish remover then rinse with water. Next, slightly buff the nails. This helps the glue hold better. Next, choose the tip for each finger. I went through the entire set, picked the ones that would work on each hand and set them in order on the table. Then I did some filing on them, rounding some of the edges better and getting rid of the little burr on the tip of the nail from when they were manufactured. This did not affect the look of the nails at all. Some people say they are too thick. After the acrylic set I had done at the salon, I found these to be much better, thickness wise. Next comes the gluing. The kit comes with glue, about the viscosity of super glue and it sticks FAST. So be aware of than when setting the nail. There isn't a lot of time for adjustment before the glue is hardened. Like 3 seconds? I did purchase, at the same time, their kit with glue and remover. THAT glue was less watery and had a bit more time to get the nail set before you couldn't adjust it anymore. Five seconds I would say. Wear and tear: The first day, they stayed on despite me going out and doing some gardening. WIN! Over the next three days one nail here and there would pop off randomly as I was doing stuff. I partially blame myself because I didn't use a lot of glue because like I said the glue that came with the kit was like superglue and I didn't want it to leak out and get on my fingers. When they did this I reapplied them with the thicker glue from the kit that included the remover. After reapplying with that glue, they didn't pop off again. I kept them on until today, about 4 days total wear. This set was more to see how they worked out for me, not to see how long they would last. Removal: I knew today was the day for removal as one fell off as I was towel drying my hair. So I applied the remover as instructed and the majority came right off. My nails were fine underneath. No weakening. No damage to the natural nails. The ones I had reapplied with the thicker glue took a little extra love to get off. I reapplied the remover a few times, lifting the nail where I could to get it underneath and they popped right off. Just be patient and let the remover do it's thing. Any glue residue came right off with nail polish remover. Be sure to apply some hand cream and a product to moisturize the natural nails afterwards. So would I buy again? Absolutely! They are perfect if you want instant fancy nails that look natural, won't require a trip to the salon and are easy to remove when you want to. I would recommend the glue/remover kit they sell and using that glue instead of the stuff provided with the nail kit. It seems more effective. They supply enough tips to allow a full set on any hand.

These nails are beautiful. A natural nude pink base with gradual glitter tips. The kit has everything you need for a manicure, but I highly recommend the curvlife semi solid glue. The nails are thin but sturdy. They are shorter than other short brands I’ve tried. The nail shape is a short square.

I also ordered the semi solid nail glue, very easy to apply, the nails are strong. I've had them on all day so far so good! I've washed dishes, worked all day and they are holding strong. The only reason for the 4 stars is because they sent the wrong color! I ordered a pretty glossy pink and received a dull dark color. I could have returned them but I was very eager to try them out! And they look ok - I received compliments anyway! Just hope it's not a habit of sending the wrong nail color. It is also very hard to see then numbers on the back of the nails because of the dark color. Good value , good quality , they fit my nail beds nicely too!

Compared this brand to three other companies and Curvelife offered the most size options (30 pieces vs. 24 pieces) and was the only brand that fit my nailbeds appropriately. The color and quality was appealing and appeared "natural". I used the curve life nailgel which I purchased separately, so I can't comment on the Curvelife press on gel pads or glue that was provided with the Curvelife press-on nail pack itself. I followed the recommended application procedure recommended in the instructions, but I just applied them today, so im not sure how long ir how well the adhesive will last. I've never used fake nails before, but I like the way these look on and I'm hoping they stay on for the two weeks they are claiming they will last. I will do a follow-up at some point regarding length of adherence. Currently they are 5 stars for fit, appearance, and ease of application. Let's hope they stay 5 stars for durability as well!

The nails come in multiple sizes making them a perfect fit for most and they are super easy to put on! They are really pretty, but they have a bumpy, rough texture from the glitter that drives me crazy!

I just recently started doing my own glue on nails to help save money. The first coupe of times, I had glue everywhere and messed nip my nails many times. By the third time, I’m getting it down and no extra glue on my nails. These are excellent quality nails. These were longer than I wanted, but i filed them down with no issues. My nails stay on anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks. I recommend doing good research on how to put them on and remove them. That helped me tremendously. I will continue to buy these nails, they are so beautiful and natural looking.

Great, quality nails. Price is on point. Love the ombré effect! I type all day so I’m hard on nails but these are thicker and hold up perfectly. I use nail gel glue which helps too. Definitely recommend.

Very pretty nails, so far have been durable, they do have some bumps from the glitter that I wasn't expecting, but it's nothing too crazy. They were a little difficult for me to glue on, I was used to a different brand that had tabs on the ends of the nails to help you grip and place the nail when you put it on and then the tab came off. They don't fit quite as well as I would like and they're longer than I prefer, but I could probably file them down more it would just take time. Overall, not bad for the money, I would probably purchase again.

Absolutely gorgeous, easy to press on, definitely my new favourite press on nais. The size and colour are as shown, and is exactly what I wanted.

Very impressed with their durability. The glue holds very well and the nails are strong. Will definitely use again. So far they have been on for a week. I have a desk job, so lots of typing. I broke one (glue let go, nail was fine) from jamming my nail in-between a key ring trying to get a key on (my own fault it broke). Just had to glue it back on. No other issues, haven’t tried opening a pop can but have showered, done dishes and hit my nails off my fair share of objects lol. Only complaint I have is the tips have lost their colour (again a lot of typing at work, see second picture) but over all still in great shape.

The design is beautiful and I love the length. The nails are too thick for my taste. The glue tabs were a bit of a challenge to get off the plastic and apply. I’ve had them on for 5 days and they have stayed on well.

I was a nail tech for over 30 years and I’m tired of doing my own nails. These are awesome! I get compliments more often about how great my nails look. Don’t hesitate, all the positives you’ve heard about this product is true!
