Let's Be Honest: You Have to Enjoy 'This Kinda Thing'
The problem with this game is that it doesn't work as the 'Final Fantasy Killer' (I like this game, and have enjoyed it more than any of the three Final Fantasy games I have played, those being the original for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy X) unless you enjoy the additions and dragoon transformations. The game is all about style. I absolutely LOVE gaining and performing each character's addition, building their dragoon levels, transforming, watching the mini scenes where they use their magic, and trying to get a 'perfect' on the Dragoon additions.Combine that with characters I like, a story that keeps me wanting to see what happens next, and a focus on the absolute POWER of the dragoons and winglies, and I have a game that I consider the greatest Role-playing game in existence. . . to me.Tales of Symphonia is probably 'technically' better. It has more replay value, more things to unlock, and more magic attacks. There is more to explore in general, and it is translated much better. But if it were three years since I had played both games, and I was given the option, I would choose the Legend of Dragoon, because every part of this game is just plain FUN.So, in short:If you enjoy timing your button presses to make combos, transforming into impressive-looking dragoons, seeing a few truly astonishing cut-scenes, and seeing a story that IS interesting, (people say that it isn't original, but I have NEVER seen a story like this, ever, anywhere) then you will like this game.If you just wanna press 'attack' and let it go, if you want TONS of magic abilities to unlock, or if you just take things too seriously and wouldn't be able to tolerate the poorly translated text, then you won't like the game.

Worth It All The Way
I was first introduced to this game when I was little - and I've loved it ever since. I've always been an avid fan of the Final Fantasy series for a long time, as well, but I think that in the long run Legend Of Dragoon is much more valuable than any of the FF games.I've played Final Fantasy VII, which I suppose was the more popular counterpart of Legend's time, but I've never been able to get past the second disc because it had bored me so much. The Legend of Dragoon has everything I could want in an RPG.-- The battling system is simple but hard enough that I want to keep going till I get their moves perfect.-- Great music. I admit that it isn't up to par with Final Fantasy's music, but it's very nice and memorable.-- Lovely story. It started out kind of rough but still likable then completely flared out into this complex story where all of the characters are intertwined in some way. The story is magical.-- The graphics were a nice touch - not the best I've seen, but it makes me like this game all the more. But honestly, it isn't boring. The story isn't a straight line; I swear that it's so much of an adventure that you'll be amazed once you finally reach the end. And it's something you'll want to carry with you for a long time.I hope that the people who are buying this aren't also buying in to the rumors that this game is horrible. Just have an open mind and a love for RPGs and this game may be the one for you.

legend of dragoon
well this game has a very fun and unique battle system however it gets much harder to use the techs as your learn the higher level skills/the story is really good and has a great plot twist but is very slow getting anywhere for instance it has 4 disks and you find out the plost twist and the overall jist of the story at the end of disk 3.this game aslo has a very low exp rate which is kinda hard to level without eating up a massive amount of time.the voice acting is surprisingly great for a playstation game and for a game period.its aslo very straight threw gameplay so if you like a game with sidequests or hidden stuff this game might not be for you.

"Mint condition" in so many ways
The game arrived within the time expected. There were some cracks in the case but I have other ps1 game cases that look way worse. And while my review might mention a cracked case, I want it to be known that a case is a very easily replaceable item and I have no issues with its condition. The game came with the original front and back artwork which was actually more than I expected and the game disks (all 4) are in perfectly mint condition. My Play station 1 has no issues with it so far and I don't expect to run into issues in the following disks.I also had a very lovely "thank you" chocolate mint sent with the package. I really appreciate the added treat as it made me smile all over again to see after seeing a game that I havent played since the time when PS2 was still a new thing. I will be doing business with this company in the future when I am hunting for rare ps1 games to relive my childhood and I can not say enough about how happy I am with my purchase. Please take my advice and my review to heart when considering doing business with this company. I genuinely feel that you wont be disappointed.Thank you for helping me have a small piece of my childhood back. For the record, I was not paid to say this and in no way will I benefit from this review. I am writing this to give credit where credit is due to the seller.
