Works perfectly.
Simple and basic fully functional 2.5GB hub for a very good price. I love that is has the 10G SFP+ ports, but SFP+ adapters are still expensive, but great future proofing. Getting the full 2.5 Gbps as expected.

3 weeks of use and it completely failed.
Failed after three weeks of use. Returned for refund. Power brick seems weak for two high current sfp+ modules.

Works as expected
I love that this can provide speeds of up to 2.5gbps. I now have several devices that are 2.5gbps-capable and I needed more than the single 2.5 port on my router. So far, everything I've connected to this switch is maxing out my internet plan (~1.4gbps) without adding any ping time. I haven't noticed any heat coming from the unit, but that could be because I don't really use it that hard. I do wish the bright read power light would turn off or go away. It's too bright, and red is too obnoxious of a color. Other than that, I've been really happy with this budget 2.5gbps switch.

Didn't last long
This switch worked fine for a year. Now, it has started to not make connections with my computer and my house's main switch. I have to physically unplug the cable and replug it in for it to make the connection. I guess you get what you pay for. It's great that it is just 1 month out of warranty too.

False Advertising At Best
I received this 4 port 2.5G/10G SFP switch today. Already had run and tested fiber between locations, had tested SFP+ 10G receivers. No recognition of the sfps being plugged in, nothing. Tried some older 1G SFPs same story. Moral To The Story -- DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Stopped working after 8 months
I'm unsure what happened, but I woke up to find that the switch was no longer working with my Netgear router. I have two computers connected to this switch, which uplinks to the router. Suddenly, the router was no longer able to assign DHCP IP addresses to either computer. Replacing the switch resolved the issue. No configuration changes were made to any of the devices, so my conclusion is that the issue was due to a hardware failure in the switch.
