Overall it's a cheaper good product way to go if you can't afford the real expensive ones. Nothing really wrong with it and it holds up with constant use. So far so good. Functionality is ok just be easy with the product Definitely try and not drop it. After putting the Ipad in the slot, the compactness of the structure is very good and works as it should.

I’ve been wondering lately if I could move all my lightweight computing needs onto iPad and ditch my heavy laptops. This case makes it possible.Despite the small size of the Typecase keyboard, my hard earned touch typing skills have been reborn. As convenient as the virtual keyboard on IPad can be for short, sporadic entries, anything longer than a sentence feels like a slog and slows me down. Now I can type on the iPad as fast as I think, which may not be all that fast for my wise-cracking friends, but is certainly leaps and bounds faster than the virtual keyboard.The twist style screen is a must. I can still use the iPad as a normal tablet and touch screen, which is often. When I need the keyboard, I spin it around and turn it on. It’s super fast. The multiple options for standing up the iPad screen are welcome. I use most of them often, so the case works great as a stand and has greatly improved the usability of the iPad.I can’t say I use the trackpad all the much. Most of the time I still use the touch screen as a kind of giant trackpad. It’s so close anyway. I just reach over and, you know, touch it. That said the Typecase trackpad is genuinely great and I do use it for sporadic situations.The keyboard isn’t quite ThinkPad level, but is good enough considering the shallow profile. I wish the keys were a softer touch or maybe even rubberized given the size. They feel a little slick compared to my laptops, but I will probably adjust over time. They’re perfectly functional, but don’t feel up to the build quality of the rest of the case.The case is indeed well built and solid. The iPad snaps right in. I feel extra secure closing the lid for the night and knowing the screen is protected now. The blue color I selected is beautiful and the Zagg stylus I bought for the holder looks right at home. The case comes pre-charged and the bluetooth setup is easy. I was running in maybe two minutes.I would definitely buy again from this company. Be aware that there is a second Typecase version that is similar to this case that uses a magnetic attachment. I prefer this snap-in version, but maybe I’m paranoid. My wife bought the magnetic version and it is a little sleeker and lighter. She’s super happy with that version. I still prefer my case when using it as a stand as it completely surrounds the case edges, but that is a minor point.

Piece of cake to set up and pair. The case is beautifully made and handsome. Seems quite sturdy. Best feature: the infinitely variable viewing angles for the tablet. Whatever angle I set it to, there it stays. This entails that changing the angle is going to require some effort; it doesn't just flop around to a few set positions, but rather moves stiffly to the position you want and then stays there.Only drawbacks: I'd like it if the outside of the case offered a little more friction, so that it was harder for it to slip out of my hands. Also, the pencil loop means that the pencil is in the way much of the time. It would be better if there were a groove for the pencil instead.UPDATE: The pencil loop is a bother, whether or not there is a pencil in it. If you are holding the tablet in landscape mode, it's always in the way. The case *really* needs a groove for the iPencil.Also, the stiffness of the central universal hinge - which is a great feature of the case, because it holds the screen securely in any position - naturally means that it takes a bit of force to change the position of the screen versus the keyboard. That's not a problem in itself - or wouldn't be, if it were not for the fact that the beautiful sleekness of the finish on the case makes it slippery.Apart from those things, I still maintain that this is a terrific keyboard case.

If you’re looking for a keyboard case for your iPad, I do recommend this product. The battery does last long, even if you leave it on for a few days without turning it off. I love how I could turn it around and use just the iPad without taking my iPad out. It does give it a little weight to it, like almost having a small laptop. It connect well and for the price, you can’t go wrong with this. The second picture is how the color looks in person, it was my lighting that makes it more of a deep color on the first picture.

I like this case a lot; however, the charging cable was not included in the box. I would really like one to be sent to me.I am updating my review because after contacting the support page for Typecase, the response was immediate and my missing charging cable is being shipped out. My experience with this product over all is 5 star.
