Teddy Bear Patterns (McGrath Math)

My daughter loves this book. We like to get gummy bears and play along as the book makes patters and colors

Fun book to teach my 3 year old on patterns. The end of book does some math like addition and multiplication which I think he wasn’t too into. I paired this with the colorful plastic rainbow bears for him to play with. He also learned colors.

our little beastie is in constant need of mental challenge. This was a great way to introduce patterns to our 3yr old. This has been her chosen bedtime book since it arrived. It is a wonderful companion to bear counters.

So we bought the 50 bear assortment with 5 colors and 5 coordinating color cups, but in that assortment there is no orange. We have the Teddy Bear counting book that utilizes the 50 pack of bears and didn't realize there were different sets for different books, It would be really nice if there was a description of which set will be required for each book. We have a really bummed out 4 yr old who can't do the patterns in this book because we don't have any orange bears.So now we need to buy another set just for the orange bears. Seems like quite a marketing scam to me. Lame.

This book is very cute! I bought it for my daughters 4th birthday and she loves it! I bought the bears as well and she loves to use them with the book.

Wonderful way to begin teaching young children to be observant and to sort objects by characteristics, and find patterns. These are the basis for problem solving and an important foundation for thinking skills. A perfect book for use by parents at home during family time.

Bought this to add to our hands on math curriculum for my young kids. Love these hands on lessons with our homeschool.
