Original Post: I bought this for my Camry in January of 2023 (2 years 2 months ago at the time I am writing this) when we adopted our large German Shepherd mix. At the same time my husband bought another car hammock for his RAV4. He wanted a good quality hammock, not "a cheap one", and got one somewhere else for about $150 if I remember correctly. Anyways, the hammock in the Camry, this hammock, still looks great, nothing torn, while the expensive one my husband bought is torn to shreds in the center. So I am going to buy this hammock for him as soon as I am done writing this. Obviously it is good quality material, it covers everything, functions as expected, and it is so easy to clean. It was in the washer only just once, cold water delicate cycle, and hung to dry. Usually a spot cleaning is sufficient, the fabric cleans so easily.

Love this back seat cover !! Switched my dog to sitting in my backseat. As he always has been in my folded down area of my jeep. But as he has his head always out the window having him sit in the seat is safer for him. I bought this cover and it fit so easy looks great. But my dog was not happy losing all the space from the back. With a few times he now loves sitting and having his head out the window. He is a 125lb bloodhound the cover fits great and I can easily wipe off all his drool on cover. I had the cover at first clipped on all the seats but he kept climbing over to the front seat. As he is very large so I unclipped the front seats and he then sat down and relaxed. When I had the front seats clipped it held his weight just fine. The problem was he kept leaning his weight on the front which I wanted him siting on the seat . I have had it about 4 to 5 days now and now he sits great on back seat and lays down now. He goes every day with me in the car as does a lot of scent trailing. I can now clip the from clips and he doesn't climb over to see me. This cover came fast and it is great If you are looking for a good cover this is it. thank you so much well made and very comfortable for my dog. thank you !!!!!

This is my review of the Active Pets Dog Seat Cover, size XL, and I hope you find it helpful. I purchased this seat cover to replace a very similar cover, one that has served us well for about 7 years, but is now wearing thin from so much use. My vehicle is a 2014 Honda Ridgeline and we have a 60 lbs Great Pyrenees mix that sheds fur like crazy, and she rides in the back seat of our truck on a daily basis. The dimensions of the rear bench seat on my truck are: 55” across from one side to the other, the seat back is 25” high, and the seat itself is 18” from seat back to front. The dimensions of this size “XL” cover, measured as I unpacked it are: side to side 59”, seat back is 24” high, and the reinforced seat is 18.5” from seat back to where it folds over the front of the seat. The dimensions of the cover match the dimensions of my vehicle pretty well, but not exactly. I’ll include a photo of the cover as soon as I have it installed. Another measurement that’s worth noting is the distance between the two back seat headrests, which on my truck measures 33” centerline to centerline. That’s important because the straps that hold up the seat cover need to fit around those headrests. Although the spacing of those two supporting straps is slightly less at 31.5”, the fit is very good. Hopefully you can see that in my photos. The straps and buckles are sturdy and were easy to adjust, similar to those on the cover I’m replacing, so I expect them to last us for many years. Installation was simple, I had it done in a couple of minutes. Overall, I’m very pleased with this cover! The material seems sturdy, it has a feel that I’d compare with stiff canvas, and should be easy to clean. I just wish the dimensions had been provided in the product description. As I mentioned above, this cover is very similar to what I'm replacing and I expect to get 5-10 years of good service from it.

Performance exactly as expected, price point is phenomenal. Wish there was a way to keep my Houdini dog from jumping over it into the front seat, but she's quite the trickster. Makes me so happy as there are new leather seats in my vehicle and she would've tore them up otherwise.

Easy to fit to both our cars. However item sent doesn’t actually look like the one on the pic. Not as thick or sturdy as the one in the photo. I think this is because I’m in Australia and the product sent is the Australian version. Still ok though but wish I had known when ordering as I bypassed the Australian site and paid extra thinking I was getting the thicker one.

This is doing a great job of saving my leather seats and stopping my large greyhound from sliding around on the back seats and into the footwells. It fits perfectly in my car and was really easy to install as it just hooks over the headrests. The fabric feels nice and sturdy and is doing well so far. My dog seems to quite like it as she lays down straight away and stays down for the whole journey, so she seems to feel quite secure with it. I like that there are holes for the seatbelts so it’s really easy to use a dog seat belt with it. It did have a bit of a weird smell to start with and an almost greasy feel, but that goes away fairly quick.

This product does not fit full size vehicles. Only mid size at best.
