The magnet in these ear plugs is the only real complaint I have other than the price point. I think they do a phenomenal job at blocking sound and being comfortable. I have small ear holes and the smallest set of silicon inserts works well for my needs at my job. The magnets do not hold together very well if you are doing a lot of moving. At my job they often come apart and fall off of my neck (I use the strap) and unfortunately I work at height so they typically end up 60 feet below me often, when I rely on the magnet to hold them together while I'm not actively using them.For leisure, travel, and concerts, these are a GREAT option. I just wish they weren't so pricey.

I received them 1 day after ordering (Amazon Prime). Using the large silicone plugs I find them very comfortable. I play drums in a Progressive Rock band and after so many years I have noticed some problems with my ears. I should have started using something like this years ago, but I guess better late than never! Being able to change the level is quite a nice feature and is easy to do while wearing them after sliding the "switch" a few times to "break it in". I used them at band practice the night I got them. Since we play fairly loud, I was still able to easily hear the music with them on the full setting (-24db). When things got a little quieter (rarely, lol) I could just switch to the lower setting. The magnetic feature is also very nice since it helps reduce the chances of losing them while they are not in your ears. All these things and the handy little carrying case make this a very nice product, even if a little pricey. I figure it's either get something of quality that's useful and adjustable like this now, or spend more money on hearing aids sooner!

I love my dBuds! I was skeptical about the price but the quality backs it up. These are sturdy well-made ear plugs that do as they describe. It's cool to have two noise reduction levels, though I usually just keep it on -24. Inside has 3 size options for your ears and you can choose silicone or foam ear buds for your comfort of choice, I stick with silicone. I also like the magnet feature, so when the dBuds are not in use you can hang them around your neck by its leash and the actual left and right dBud magnetize together and it becomes a necklace to make sure you don't lose them. Usually I use them to help cancel out noise when I am working, it helps me focus. I've also experimented taking them shooting and they reduced about the same amount of noise as the usual heavy duty gun ear muffs, the only difference was dBuds were much more comfortable and the size was obviously more compact. It seems like dBuds markets mainly to music concerts but I find there are more areas these can be useful.

I’ve been working in a haunted house for years, and there is only so many high pitches girly screams and buzzed and bang a girl can take. A couple of years ago It started to really hurt my ears and then I would just be angry. These dull all the loud noises but I’m still able to pay attention. It is kind of hard to hear people speak. I have to take them out when someone asks a question. But I’m around a lot of noise and we are wearing masks so that may contribute. The are very comfortable.

These are my go-to buds when I need a lot of ear protection. They are very comfortable for me and I like the case! I believe they are best suited for live concerts and crowd noise/screaming, etc. I play in various bands and have dabbled with using them on stage myself - I don't have a verdict yet on how well they function as a live performer. I will say that my initial tests indicate, for me at least, they significantly decrease the sound so they would only be appropriate for very loud bands, but perhaps not for nuanced live stage performance. Regardless of that, I always have them with me at concerts or my own gigs since these ear buds are simple the best when there's a lot of loud sound (concerts) and when you desire serious ear protection!

Its great having the option to switch between 11db, or 24db. However the 11db is barely noticeable reduction. I like the magnetic feature and i wear it as necklace all day in case i need it.

These ear plugs are comfortable and a good value. The noise cancelation is excellent as well. I like the feature of switching from low protection to high protection when the situation calls for it. I plan on buying at least another pair.
