Love this in salads. Very flavorful

As expected, it is corn that has been freeze dried. It comes in a nice looking screw top plastic container, which is foil sealed and the corn itself is in a plastic bag inside that. It's small pieces of corn, and I had a good bit of powder from breakage in my container which means some has been wasted. It tastes exactly like plain corn except it's crunchy and airy. The price is pretty high at $15 for 7 oz of corn. I'm honestly not sure what regular people do with freeze dried corn but my husband actually really enjoys corn as a snack and I know he's going to just love being able to actually snack on corn.

Incredible texture. You really can munch this for a snack. Bought to add to soups, but may not make last long enough. Will buy again.

So I'm not a chili purist and add all kinds of things to it. Frozen corn is one of my favorite things to add but I hate losing the freezer space. I've never tried freeze dried corn before and this was a revelation. I added some in to my beans while I cooked them and the corn was perfectly rehydrated. This container makes quite a bit of rehydrated. I guesstimate I'll get about 6-8 batches of chili and it's nice to just have it there on hand for whenever I need it. I don't use corn in other things but it just seemed like corn that I think would be good for other people's recipes like casseroles or soups?

This is a 7 oz container of dehydrated sweet corn kernels, from Ulthmok. They arrived in perfect condition and factory sealed. The corn is packaged inside a plastic bag, inside the twist-top container. Right away I grabbed a little handful and tasted it, and it was great. It tasted like perfect sweet corn, but crunchy. I think this would actually make a pretty addictive snack and I could easily eat the whole container this way. But I ordered it to add to ramen and similar packaged soups when they don't include any vegetables in the packet. I've been using this corn for that, and it is excellent for that purpose. It hydrates quickly in the hot ramen broth and adds a bit of flavor, color, and texture to otherwise boring noodles and broth. I think this is a great product.

This freeze dried corn was exactly what I was expecting to get. Crunchy and completely dried. Tastes like corn.

This freeze dried sweet corn comes in a nice wide-mouth plastic container and it looks pretty fresh from the outside, with light yellow corn color. The smell is off when you first open the container, not too unpleasant but you usually won't associate that type of smell to anything enjoyable to eat, maybe this is what freeze dried foods would smell like. Indeed, the corns are tasty, crunchy, with the signature sweetness of fresh corns. This is a delicious and healthy snacks, with no sugar added.The expiration date on the container is about 1.5 years from now. You should give it a try.
