I use the two smallest the most because I do a lot of small floral paintings with tiny details. These brushes hold a lot of paint and I can often paint all the greenery for one in flower without adding more paint to the brush. I did have to trim the second-smallest brush once because a hair (or two?) started to pull away but wasn't loose enough to pull out. I was very careful with trimming and it worked out well - I have not had any loose hairs ever since. My only concern is the plastic wrap covering the base of the brushes: I wonder if paint will build up in there (the area where the ferule is usually found) and there is no way that I can detect to clean under the plastic without damaging the area where the wires anchor the brush bristles. These brushes are unusual so it would be nice if they came with directions and/or a FAQ sheet.

Love the brushes but I was really impressed by the packaging. They came in an individual cylinder for each brush. I got another brush the same day that came in a large box without a bristle guard, without any protection of any kind.

人工毛ですが、作りは高い筆のものと一緒だったので買ってみました人工毛ですが細くて思ったより柔らかくまとまりも良くて　水も含むし書き味もよかったです♪なんといってもリーズナブル‼︎初心者の方もこういう筆に最初であったら楽しくなるのではないでしょうか

Each brush has a compact and well formed head. The bristles hold the shape well while painting either for wet on wet technique or keeps it’s point for wet on dry. Holds plenty of water and paint. Would buy again.
