Quality is excellent
I purchase this set of outdoor spot and walkway lights concerned about the quality and installation. I was replacing 20 plus year old lights so the wire was already in the ground. I found out the quality is excellent and installation was simple. Their connecter was easy to install on a stiff old wire. The brightness is also excellent. My only concern in longevity. On the spots the bulb cannot be changed so it requires replacement and for the walkway lights the bulb is attached to the wiring, so if replacement is required it means digging up to the connection and connecting a new bulb and wire. They state a two year warranty which is good. Hopefully these will run for many years.

Beautiful set of lights
So far this set is working great and the house looks beautiful and was extremely easy to install. The quality is great, even the posts are metal.

Wow I’m impressed
I did not expect these lights to be so bright and beautiful!! We live in the woods and this lit up our entire yard. The other lights we have pointed in our tree and they are perfect too!

Good value, looks great - not the most durable
I am a landscaper, and install landscape lights quite often, so let me first say that once these are installed - they look just as good as the high-end units we put in (the ones that cost upwards of $300 per light, such as Kichler). The assembly is the first clue that these are not exactly built to last - thin-walled metal tubing, threads that look like they could strip easily, and the metal frame for the uplights bent once as I was trying to adjust it.In addition, since installation two of the round shades for the path lights have broken off their plastic housing through some incidental contact (once from a hose, another time from a snow shovel). Repaired relatively easily, but likely to break again in the future. The actual installation is fairly foolproof, but not eactly easy. The strange little threaded assembly they give you is actually tough to get a good connection with - I had to strip more of the wire from the lights than was provided, which is fine - if you have wire strippers. The little spike-things that are meant to sit like a saddle on top of the electrical wire were also tough to install. The "saddle" portion was a little too narrow for the insulated wire I was using, which made the threaded cap VERY tough to screw on. Since both parts were plastic, there was enough elasticity that I was able to get them all on, but I suspect that could be another failure point down the road, especially given our cold winters. In the end, I ended up using more traditional connections (ACE connectors, which require a torch to weather-proof them) that will probably last much longer than the lights. All that being said, for the money I was able to uplight two of my trees in the front yard and provide path lighting from my front sidewalk all the way back to my patio area in the back yard, for FAR less than I would have using a higher-end commercial light.I added a smart-plug in the transformer, and now they are controlled by my smart-phone, and they look fantastic. If you are comfortable doing some VERY basic electrical work (you don't even have to mess with a positive or negative line with low voltage like this) - I would highly recommend these; so long as you don't care if you have to replace a few over time.
