Another Life: From the multimillion copy bestselling author of The Women, The Nightingale and The Four Winds

This is a great page turner of a book. I loved it but found it emotionally draining to read. The characters are so real and you really feel immersed in the story.

On a Kristin Hannah read fest at the moment and this was my latest read. Beautifully written story of a young girl with a troubled upbringing and her world colliding with a divorced woman returning to the family nest to heal. Their lives become intertwined and in doing so a lot of healing takes place. Lovely read not as captivating as some of the more recent works but overall still a joy to read.

Fabulous book

Not my favourite and an older book that had been republished. I have read The Women twice now and I really enjoy some of the other books by this writer (though oddly not The Nightingale). It was a fairly pedestrian books with characters that are pretty okay and the writing style that you would expect. It’s not that I didn’t like the story but it definitely didn’t move me the way others have.

Great read- a little drawn out waiting for the ending. But we’ll worth it- love hope and family are the key themes.

Well Kistin Hannah certainly knows how to write a gripping story. Lots highs and lows, and twists. There were also tears at times. The characters were beautifully written, and the emotions that were involved in the story were brilliantly described. The author had obviously looked into losing a baby and the desperate feelings of wanting a baby. I really enjoyed it, read it in 2 days.
