I love essences, and snail essences are one of my favourites. I have pretty dry and dehydrated skin and I'm always on a hunt for something new and better. Because of the snail mucin, it has a thicker, more viscous consistency and is very hydrating. After using it my skin feels nice and plump. It soothes, hydrates and leaves the skin absolutely soft, and smells pleasant. After applying it to the skin, it has a slightly sticky feeling, but it is absorbed very quickly. I usually use this for my nighttime routine after more watery toner. If you have sensitive and dry skin, you must try this essence, very lightweight but hydrating. I also liked the bottle size and the amount I got without breaking the bank. Definitely give it a try if you like snail essence! Do yourself a favour and put this in your cart.

Since 2019, I have gone through (according to my purchase history) exactly thirty-three bottles of TIAM's snail & azulene essence. In that time, I have married, become a mother, and moved cross-country to a new climate; while my skincare routine has had to shift and change with my needs as my life did, this stuff has been the only constant. This essence is indispensable from my skincare routine and daily routine. I use it morning and night, right after cleansing and before using any serums or creams. Honestly, if I was ever in a position where I had to choose this stuff or any of my other daily products, I would go this this essence. It is so cooling & soothing on the skin, absorbs flawlessly, and moisturizes enough on its own that it could easily be worn alone (and was when I was in the postpartum trenches and had barely enough motivation to wash my face!). I reach for this before aloe vera whenever I get a bit of sunburn, too. My husband has eczema, easily-congested pores, and acne, but I've made him a convert and this is a staple in his skincare routine, too! It doesn't have any perfumes or weird dyes in it, so it doesn't irritate his skin (I've also used it on our kids' skin on occasion for sunburns or heat-flushed skin). I have to keep an extra bottle on standby so he doesn't swipe mine when he runs out!

Super soothing and refreshing on the skin and great to use for an additional layer of hydration. you can either put it onto a cotton pad and then apply it or apply it with your fingers. I like to apply it after I have cleansed my face when it is still slightly damp and then I apply my serums and moisturiser. When my skin is feeling really dry I apply a couple of layers of it and that really helps.
