I purchased this to run my generator, the quality seams excellent the gauge size wire is what I was looking for. Waterproof because of needing to be used out doors

You can tell instantly that this is quality construction. The cord feels heavy indicating quality wire was used. The copper wire inside is where the majority of the material cost comes from. The plugs aren’t cheap plastic either. They are a heavy duty rubber. Works great with my 9500 Watt inverter generator to backup my home in an emergency. I’m curious if it will remain pliable in the winter. If it does, I’ll update this review with the 5th star. Good luck!

Great choice and reasonable price

It seems to be a great power cord with a nice grip handle. Seems it will last a long time.

I’ve been putting off buying the right cord for my generator and a transfer switch for many years now. I e always just plugged in a bunch of smaller cords and ran them through a window or door during a power outage. Now I can just flip a few breakers and the house can still be secured with no cords on the floor as tripping hazards. Easy to install, capable of carrying the 30amps of power I need, it was still flexible during the last ice storm but still sturdy enough to do the job and not feel flimsy. Should have bought this years ago.

Excellent addon item to my Champion generator. Used it twice so far and no issues whatsoever. It's not super heavy and sturdy enough in summer and winter. Nothing to wish more from this cord. Highly recommended (high visibility is definitely a bonus)

Great flexible cable that is SJTW and a REAL 10 gauge. I cut the female side to change the connector and was very happy to find a REAL 10 gauge wire. Of course the wire is multi strand as it would not be flexible but the gauge is excellent; it does not become hot with 30amps going through it. Got it on sale too, that is a great bonus!!!

Bought this cable for my Generac generator. This cable matched the 240v, L14-30 receptacle. Seems to be good quality 4 wire copper cable but have not needed use it yet.
