I had 2 cutters that I had bought at HD and they had become wobbly. I wanted to replace them but the price ant HD was too high , This set is much better quality and a better value. I am doing a very large house full remodel and this has proven to be a great tool set for us.

Solid material used to construct a find quality item. With much use at work as a journeyman pipefitter, this item maintains high performance on a 10 hour shift each day of the week. With that being said, thoroughly satisfied with the over all rigidity.

Easier to use than a screw based cutter. No stopping to tighten. Just slip over the pipe and start turning(arrow direction). Use included deburring tool and you’ll be done. I don’t think I’ll ever have a use for the 1” cutter but it was cheaper to buy the set than it was to buy the 1/2 and 3/4 separate. Plus the case is nice. Super durable and they have some weight to them when in the palm of your hand. Perfect addition to any handyman’s plumbing box.

Very low quality. 1/2 cutter broke the first day. The 1” cutter spins in spiral have not gotten it to cut. 3/4 works fine. If you are a plumber that works with a lot of copper tubing. save your money do not buy this product.

Hard to get a grip on the pipe, to much cleanup had to use a dremel to remove the flair.
