Exceptional electric corded Unit. Surprisingly well made
25May2025 - Suggest after every use, give it a good wipe down inside and out from the wood dust it generates from shredding. Make sure to unplug first. Have a simple towel and chip brush to get where the towel can't wipe off the small pieces . See pics. More 2024 - on removing the blades because they do get dull. You can tell when it doesn't pull the branches in as easy and take a bit longer to chip shred the branches. It comes with the T shape tool where one end is the Allen wrench to unscrew/screw the blades two set screws. They are on very very tight. Wish the extra set of blades also came with extra set of setscrews. Recommend first clean off the setscrew holes as it will have wood dust accusation in the setscrew which will not give you a good grip, resulting in stripping marring the setscrew hole. Then use a good screwdriver and insert into the T handle so you have more leverage power to unscrew the blade set screws. The other challenge you have is that the Allen wrench part of the T -tool is a bit too long shank if the Allen wrench part so it's good for flat surface but ...the disk assembly is at an angle, so it will titter totter when unscrewing. See pics. Even though the instruction manual states to remove the metal blade defend block that is held with multiple black screws. You don't have to and don't recommend cause if you have to do the blade replacement/switch blade sides, the constant screwing and unscrewing these multiple black screws will wear out the plastic it screws into. All you have to instead is just slowly rotate the blade assembly to get at the blade set screws. See my pics. Also the instruction manual says to use a screwdriver to jam the blade assembly so that it doesn't move when trying to unscrew the setscrews. There is a hole to jam the assembly So make sure you find that hole for your screwdriver to jam into. See pic. Or for me it was easier to use a socket wrench (15mm) onto that center large black hexhead bolt there to hold it in place while trying to unscrew with the T handle/screwdriver. See pic. Update Dec 2024 - Chip shredded several branches from a gingko tree that was getting too close to the overhead service line to the house. Ginko is a softwood so after chipping/shredding I took a look at the blades, blade defend block and blade disc assembly. You will get some sap buildup there depending on the wood being chip shred, so seasonally you may want to clean that off abit so that you can better loosen the screws holding the blades. I did that with a cloth and WD40. The chipper shredder continues to perform outstandingly. Original Review - Each year I have loads of branches that I would just bring to the curb for pickup. So I purchased this unit to see how it would chip/shred the branches so I can use as a mulch or add it to my compost pile so that it decomposes faster. It produces very good bits of chips/shred. See my video of this. It is more than I expected. The unit is well constructed, it is not cheap plastic feel but very durable plastic that can take being knocked around. It's not brittle plastic, it has a tough feel plastic which I like alot. Assembly was very easy just attached the legs and wheels. The instructions are well written and provides diagrams to follow. I will suggest that when doing this, get the wheel and axle assembly onto the two prong legs first, then set it to the body of the unit to screw down. The instructions has that reversed. Just one noted typo on the box body. The word Corded is misspelled as "Coroed" Hopefully they will fix that in the future packaging. Looking inside of the cutting disk was very impressive. It's all metal, the blade disk, the blade defend block. All this is then screwed securely into the heavy duty plastic body with 6 screws. So the cutting being done is basically all metal. When it comes to tools to do the assembly it's provide in the T shaped tool provided. So that is very convenient. Regarding sound noise level, it's about 80-83 decibels but not sharp. This is considered on the decibel chart as Loud, so I wore ear plugs. When I was feeding in branches my sound meter showed about 90-93 decibels, so recommend wear ear plugs or headsets. I took an amperage reading and I was reading about 8.5-8.9 amps and when shredding branches it went to about 9.3 - 9.6 depending on the size and hardness of the branches so that's not bad at all. I did not experience any time my circuit breaker tripping at all. Never and also make sure to use heavy gauge extension cord as indicated on the manual or else the shredder motor may overheat. My unit stay cool. No overheating at all. When I rolled it across my yard it rolled well and no indication of tipping over. It rolled well. It comes with a collection bag that I felt was a good size for carrying the chip/shred branches easily. Worked well when putting it down as mulch in the garden beds. Recommend lay your branches straight in a pile so that you can feed them in easily rather than wasting time pulling branches out of a mixed pile while the chipper is running. I did my branches in those intervals of lined up piles then turning on the chipper shredder. It also comes with extra two sets of blades they are double sided which is great and the tool is provided as well in the box. Overall it's an exceptionally well made unit for residential homeowner use for the price range.

Easy to used & reduced volumes.
This product is suitable for my needs, it run none stop for hours without any issue. I used it for 4 days and run it for 3 to four hours each day and It chipped very good without replacing the blade. I have the whole tree and cedar to grind or chip. The sound of the motor is acceptable. Just feed the chipper one at a time until the first one is finished chipping and you never have a ptoblem. Is important to follow what size of branches to feed and it works well.

Great so far
This thing is a monster and a wimp at the same time. It eat's through the size branches and cuttings it is rated for but it isn't rated for much. Really don't try feeding it more than a 1.5 inch diameter branch. It will work hard on that but it works like a champ. It does like to clog if you feed it a lot of stuff at once but is really easy to clear. Though I haven't replaced blades yet, it looks as it will be easier than a lot of models. We used the bag that comes with it and it works well but the capacity is not big. You have to dump it regularly. We started just putting the chipper where we wanted the chips and left the bag off. When the chips piled up we just kicked the pile down or moved the chipper over a little. When finished we would just rake the chips out for the mulch layer there. over all it is a great hobbyist level chipper shredder. We only have a few hours of operation on it so can't speak to durability. Time will tell and I will update my review later on probably.

Excellent value and works great!
The Proyama wood chipper is eating through limbs like crazy! The blades are super sharp and durable! The electric motor is strong and quiet. Pros. Quiet, lightweight, blades are reversible and it comes with an extra set, has plenty of power for the rated 1 3/4 inch limbs. Cons. I wish the cord was a little longer but that is easily fixed with an extension cord, and it would be nice if the hopper was slightly larger for more leaves. Overall it is a quality product at a fair price and the pros definitely outweigh the cons in my opinion.

Good item
This is a well built item. Assembly was very straightforward. It does what is is supposed to do. It struggles with the bigger branches more than the older sun joe item it was replacing but does very well with smaller brush etc. It was easy to clean out.

Poor performance
I thought this would be a good shredder after reading the reviews, then I received it ran less than 1 hour with less than1 inch sized branches through it and it clogged constantly. The blades are almost gone. They’re worn out so bad after one use and the mulch you wouldn’t use it in your enemies yard. so my opinion would be don’t waste your money on this product. I have several years of lawn experience.

Great shredder for the price
I am very pleasantly surprised about how the shredder handles all of our crêpe myrtle branches. There is plenty of horsepower for lighter jobs. The only dislike I have is that the wheelbase could be wider when wheeling it from .8 to point B but once it’s in place, it is stable. Also, it would’ve been nicer to have a hard plastic bin instead of a bag but almond oil for the price this is a great little shredder.

I just used this to grind 10 years worth of apple tree prunings to create barbecue smoking chips. Took an afternoon. Works really well, easy to assemble. Couple of notes: If you think you can fit something slightly bigger than the max diameter, you’re wrong. If your wood is green, the unit will have a hard time. Drier the better. Leaves or foliage will gum it up. On the whole - this is a great purchase for small to medium jobs and something I wish I had purchased 10 years ago!

Great Quality & Price. As I unpackaged the box weighing onle 50lbs I became very skeptical that something so light and flimsy looking could do the job intended. WOW! was I wrong. Easy to assemble, loaded with safety features to protect the user with the exception that an electrical product to be used outside should have a ground (earth)pin (3 wire 14 guage construction). Used for a full 2 hours without any issues, had to unblock chute only twice due to my insistance to putting too much damp material in the hopper.

Amazing chipper for small jobs, may want to also buy a sharpener though for the blades. I have a quarter acre that is well treed, disposes of most my pruning with ease. I suggest leaving your pile for about a week somewhere sunny so the leaves dry out and try chopping it up so that the branches are relatively straight
