Cheap way to dry washing
Excellent, but unfortunatly I could not use. Gave it too a friend who loves it.

Solid Rotary Dryer
A very sturdy dryer. My only concern is that it’s hard for me to put it in the up position and down again. As a consequence I leave it up all the time - hence i have given it a 4 rating.

Works as it should!
It's a rotary washing line that works as it's designed to - that's about it. really! Couple of points, though: 1.It's quite high off the ground assuming you only sink/concrete it in as deep as recommended; if you're less than, say, 5 foot tall, you might have problems reaching the outer lines. 2. It is, as others have said, quite hard to put up, needing a fair bit of strength. Not insurmountable and will probably be easier when it's a bit older. 3. The lack of a ground spike is presumably reflected in the fact that this Vileda is cheaper than other sellers'. You get a plastic sleeve which needs concreting in. However, as I was replacing an old rotary line, I found it easy enough to adapt the 'old hole' for the new sleeve and was up and running in well under an hour, including head-scratching over the easiest/best way to do it! But if you want what appears to be the same line with a metal ground spike, you can have it - you'll just pay more. I suppose I could knock a star off for these points, but none of them really affect us, so I'm sticking with 5!

Great
Very good washing line. Did struggle to get the arms out until I noticed they had been tied back with line the same colour as the washing line. Once removed it was easy.

Usable
The line is not very tight and the pole could have been a bit longer (by the time it is sunk into the ground to make it stand it's not very tall)

Straight replacement. Quality has plummeted. I can't push it up and I am used to this model.
My old one rusted and sheared half way up. The split pole function eventually rusts together so those worrying about them coming apart need not worry. My previous one was tricky to get up and down for a few months but eventually became easier. It lasted about 5 years. What I liked about this dryer was the lines were always tight so I bought the same one. The new one I cannot put up. I have been out there half an hour and it is just to tight to go up but the line is loose and not caught. It is very odd. Very peed off as I waited ages for stock and thought the people moaning about the mechanism just were not used to it. It is tricky you have to hold the pole together. Push up and twist at the same time. The line also looks much thinner. Vileda customer care are useless. Make you do things like video a washing line then tell you to send it back to Amazon in the up position.

Sturdy and well designed but needs strength
Needed to replace an old 3 arm dryer that had seen better days. This was an obvious choice as it had more drying space and was made from better materials. Very pleased when it turned up as it wasn't much bigger in terms of size from the space occupied by the 3 arm but the arms were very sturdy. The arms clip into the top when folded down which makes this a very sturdy option even in the face of strong wind. The only down side is that it takes a bit of strength to put back up again as the central locking mechanism on the pole is raised against the tension of the washing line between the arms. None the less, a very decent purchase

Whirly line
Extremely difficult to raise up. Even with the help of a strong man it can only reach the first position. Other than that it seems okay

Molto soddisfatta 😁

Muy buen producto. Precio razonable. Cuesta un poco la apertura (por la fuerza que ejercen las cuerdas) pero eso significa también que las cuerdas se mantienen tensas y soportan peso.
