And the blade is not loose enough to just fall out as a foldable but once you barely get it started you with your thumb flip it and it locks very solid. You think you have this little bit loose blade and that locks in the place and it’s rocksolid! It is beautiful. It is one of two plates that I carry a foldable scalpel in my kitchen knife granite in California if you’re caught, caring, a knife, that large folded or in a case you can get in pretty big trouble because the blade is longer than 3 inches, I don’t know who came up with that rule that’s dumb. The big blade of this knife feels very comfortable in my hand or use it to cut all types of foods with it when I’m done I wash the blade clean it and dry it thoroughly and then I’ll use it to eat my dinner with as well. Is the first night that was so sharp that I cut through paper thin wrapper it was around my breakfast burrito like it was not even there and I cut it on top of a paper plate and I give it just enough pressure to cut it all the way down to the last sheet wrapped my burrito. I always cut it in half because it’s enough for two meals. Lol I thoroughly enjoy the knife! It’s not too heavy it’s not too light, it’s just right

I hadn't seen a folding chef's knife before. It's a very good knife, very convenient and well balanced. I like the shape of the blade, which is stainless steel. The folding mechanism works smoothly and there are detents when closing to avoid accidental closure on your fingers. It's also extremely sharp and a great knife for a very reasonable price.

I bought this knife to use during travel. I normally stay at a timeshare or bnb with a full kitchen. Unfortunately, they don't normally have the best cutlery.This knife folds and packs nicely into my suitcase. It has a nice sharp edge. It is not serrated. I bring along a travel sharpener as well.I've used it to cut through meat, vegetables and fruit with no problems. The handle is made of wood. The handle is long enough to have a good grip.The only down side is that the handle and the cutting edge are inline with each other. At times you need to half grip the handle to cut all the way down to the cutting board.

I’ve been using this folding butcher style knife for a while and I find the quality very good and this thing is absolutely razor sharp! As a matter fact, it is Extremely scary sharp! I recommend this knife for kitchen use and not so much running around in the woods!

The knife itself is beautiful, I love the style, size, color, material.Negative, the blade is super flimsy on its axle it rotates on when opening and closing, well all the time actually. I wouldn't use this on anything that requires pressure it feels like the blade will break or twist and cut yourself.It should be 2.5 stars the good vs bad it equals out, well until it'd be needed.
