Easy to install on a vent, and once tightened, incredibly secure thanks to the two metal prongs gripping the vent. Drove over rough ground and the inevitable pot-holes, and my phone was secure, legible and didn't tumble to the floor! Simply amazing value and exceptionally well made.

I’ve been using this vent-clip phone holder for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m happy with it. The clip attaches securely to the car’s air vent and holds my phone well in place. It’s simple to install and easy to use, which is a big plus. That said, I have noticed that on bumpy or uneven roads, the phone does tend to wobble a little bit. It’s not enough to make it unusable, but it can be a bit distracting. I think this is because it lacks an adjustable arm or stabilizing feature, so it relies completely on the vent for stability. Overall, it’s a solid product if you’re driving mostly on smooth roads, and it’s convenient for quickly popping your phone in and out. For rougher drives, though, you might want to consider a mount with a bit more stability.

Very impressed with this phone holder. It arrived quickly and was boxed. Only slight downside was that there were no fitting or assembly instructions inside, BUT it is quite straight forward. Unlike other reviews that suggest you need a lot of force or even a hammer to push the ball joint into the back....you don't! Remove the nut from the back of the holder; insert the ball joint through the nut BEFORE you re-screw the nut; push the ball joint into its socket; then tighten the screw (see video). If you have the nut on first then you do require force to get the ball joint in and could break the plastic. The clip/clamp on the back of the ball joint is what 'bites' the horizontal slats on your air vent and it is tightened by flipping the switch on top. Once in a position that is good for the driver the whole unit can be tilted backwards/forwards or even rotated (the benefit of the ball joint over other static holders). To clamp the phone in place you squeeze the two sides together to fit your phone. To release it there is a small button on the back at the bottom of the holder that you press and it automatically opens. I really like the fact that this phone holder has a lipped shelf at the bottom to help ensure the phone does not drop when you are fitting it. Already tried and tested it over speed bumps and country roads and it held the phone firmly in place. So happy I ordered a second for a family member.

The product and quality of the product is great. However, there are no instructions in the box just a little card with a QR code on it to take you to a user manual, which is fine if you are tech savy, or to contact the companies customer support for a pdf version. To fit it to your vent you need to unwind the hooks on the ball that you fit into the back of the main front holder, this then lengthens the hooks and then when on the vent tighten to secure. On the main front holder on the reverse at the top there is a button that once pressed releases the sides on a ratchet so you can fit your phone and then you push them back to secure the phone. Great item at a good price but a paper instructions with the main key points, in with the product would be very beneficial for many new buyers.

Workas as intended pluging in to the air-vent in the center of the dashboard. Quality is OK, with the weight of the phone it has a little flex - but ultimately it works as intended. When it arrives, you will need to insert the ball-joint in to the back of the phone holder itself. This was exceptionally hard to do as the fit was really tight. After 3 individuals tried without sucess, I finally did this with the item on the floor and then using a hammer to knock it in to position. This took reasonable force - but luckily the holder did not break. Everything else is OK, but it does look cheap - but overall does the job as epxected and for the money is good value…. Just if you have a nice car - you may want something that looks slightly more premium.
