Didn't want the typical PC mic that would require the mic to be in the webcam's frame , block the view of the screen, or make things less ergonomic at the desk. Also didn't want one requiring the mouth to be very close to the mic. This is a mini shotgun mic that fits the bill and can double as a portable vlog mic if I need so in the future.

Surprisingly good microphone! I use it for the studio and for outdoor shots when I'm mostly worried about just getting a general soundscape and not focused too specifically on my voice. For a shotgun mic it does pick up a decent bit of additional noise from the sides and around it and I think that could be due to the amplifier on the inside where it introduces a bit of additional noise when the audio source isn't immediately and right in front of it. For $50 and on a Black Friday sale, I think it's awesome. I would recommend using the USB-C connection if you can as it will improve the quality of your audio ever so slightly compared to the TRS input

I’m very impressed with the sound quality. It does a great job of reducing wind noise and still pick up my voice. And no batteries needed, which was important for backpacking with my cameras.

I bought this for my grandson to record bird sounds with the Merlin app on his phone. It works very well. I love the fact that it is powered by the phone and that it provides a standard mini headphone jack. The sound is loud and clear. Very low self noise. It does a fair job of rejecting sounds from the sides. It is much more directional and much louder than the built in mics in the phone. It is a two way audio interface. You hear audio coming from apps on the phone to the headphones. This is great, except that you also hear the mic full time. And there is no volume control for the headphones. This would be a 5 start review if there was a switch to mute the mic and a headphone volume control. Still, very useful mic.

Work with a phone and computer that are very compact and lightweight. They don’t require a battery and are simple to use, just plug and play.

I got this to use on my Nikon Z6iii, it does a very good job of picking up sound in front of the camera and fair on the backside but best for shooting video facing camera. Quality appears good.

Microphone did not have a good range. Seemed well made but the shock mount included was horribly difficult to use. Cannot recommend this unit.

FANTASTIC! Got it specifically for one client were we record content in a room with a noisy refrigerator and it helps so much with getting more controlled consistent audio to work with.

Le recensioni ne parlavano bene e non posso che confermarle!Lo uso solo per adesso in analogico (jack3.5) montato fisso su una sony rx10 III e rende proprio bene con un'ottima gamma dinamica sia con toni alti che bassi,è anche molto sensibile,ho dovuto abbassare il segnale in registrazione in camera rispetto ai microfoni originali.Resa decisamente migliore rispetto agli originali! I 2 supporti sono un po' duri da montare, sembrano piccoli, bisogna spingere bene per calzarli, ma una volta montati sono ok! Per adesso.. 5 stelle meritate!

Great microphone! I use it for vlogging and it’s been great. I chose this over the similarly sized RODE mic because this included a dead cat windscreen and it’s quite a bit cheaper. I am a professional videographer who has several RODE mics, including the VideoMic NTG. I got this Movo mic because it doesn’t require charging and it’s smaller than the VideoMic NTG. And just as important is that the audio quality from the Movo is excellent. Would recommend and would buy again.
