So great for making soap

Melted a stuck/seized aluminum seatpost grom a 4130 chromoly bike frame. Smaller (@12oz) and stronger mix with water was the trick. Outdoors and well covered with ppe is the way. Saved my frame.

This stuff is not as active as 100% pure, so be aware and adjust your other reagents accordingly. But you can't because you don't know what did they add to it. Maybe some anticaking agent, maybe something else. But reaction is slower than it suppose to be and incomplete for about 5-7%

Very disappointed this product weighs 798 grams WITH packaging. Do not reccomend. Cannot return, so do not purchase.

Great product! I can buy it cheaper elsewhere.

The delivery is pretty fast and the bottle looks pretty good. But there is a major problem about the cap. Since I only need very little each time to make special eggs, and Sodium Hydroxide is easy to absorb moisture from air, I need to keep it sealed very well once I peel the seal. But it seems like that the cap is pretty loose/ not air tight. I may need to find a way to keep it air tight to make Sodium Hydroxide last longer. Hope the manufacturer to change the cap type in the future.
