Awesome Product - I Love It
I’ve been using the homelabs portable dehumidifier for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I bought it because the humidity in my home was getting uncomfortable, and it’s made a huge difference. It pulls moisture from the air efficiently, and I noticed results within the first day. The air feels fresher, and there's no more damp smell in my bedroom. It’s also helped reduce condensation on the windows and has made the space feel much more comfortable overall. The design is compact but powerful. It runs quietly, and the water tank is easy to remove and empty. I also love that it has an automatic shut-off when the tank is full and a clear indicator light, so you know when it needs attention.

Great for Small Spaces—Effective and Reliable!
I purchased the Homelabs compact dehumidifier back in September of 2024 for my small bathroom in NYC, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The unit's compact size, along with its convenient handle and wheels, makes it incredibly easy to use and move around—excellent features for my needs! I had been battling orange mold on the ceiling and tiles, which had spread to the walls, leaving behind an unsightly glaze. Cleaning it with white vinegar felt like a never-ending chore. However, since incorporating this dehumidifier into my bathroom, maintaining a mold-free environment has become much easier. During the humid season, it’s incredibly satisfying to empty the tank two times a day, knowing that my walls are now dry and free of moisture. Additionally, I want to highlight Homelabs' outstanding customer support. After eight months of use, I noticed that the fan was running, but the tank would still be empty during humid days. I reached out for assistance and customer support responded the very next day with helpful suggestions on how to reboot the unit. After unplugging it for a day, it started working perfectly again! I’m truly grateful for this little machine and for the excellent support from Claire and Camilla! If you’re dealing with humidity issues or mold in your small space, I highly recommend the Homelabs dehumidifier. Thank you, Homelabs!

Not worth price
Not very durable. Worked well for 1 year. Purchased 2/10/25 and quit working 2/11/26.

Works good overall
I bought this because it was the cheapest price for a dehumidifier that included a compressor. It ended up working out very well for the price. It got me through a period where there was moisture buildup in my room. Pretty reasonable weight for a unit that includes a compressor

Exceeded expectations!
A great product! Fantastic, compact, efficient, attractive design. It even comes with a handle for easy transport. It runs pretty quietly--even in turbo mode. The monitor/readout panel is easy to read and to use. The dehumidifier brought the whole house humidity down from almost 80% to around 50% in 2-3 days. (<1000 sq ft bungalow). I will note that because I used turbo mode, the tank/reservoir filled up at least once a day. (Proof that it's doing a great job, I say). However, it was easy to open, empty, and put the tank back in. When I used the comfort setting, it took a little longer to fill up the tank. The dehumidifier comes with a drainage hose, so you can avoid emptying the tank if you use it. Very pleased. So pleased that I wrote a product review for the first time. Great product; great value. In fact, I bought a second one for my garage. Thanks, hOMeLabs team!

This thing works beautifully
Our master bathroom has no fan, which I find crazy. We’ve had growing concerns over mold and peeling paint since we moved in three years ago and are always having to wipe the mirror to see ourselves after showering. This machine changed all of that. The mirror is crystal clear when we step out, and because we attached a hose that runs into our tub we are able to see how much water was being pulled out of the air, and it was significant! Set up was simple, and we hope it will last well. For its size, it’s remarkably quiet, and I offer that endorsement as the lightest sleeper in the world. It’s being used in a bathroom whose door is feet away from where our newborn sleeps too, and it has never woken him. It’s just a low, steady, no-vibration sound (initially we tried a smaller one that we had to return due to a low, loud vibration it caused). The only annoying thing about it is not having a way to disable the loud “BEEEEP!” it makes when it first turns on (I YouTubed it and everything, and I finally found someone who found a way, but I’m not that mechanical and don’t want to mess anything up.) It’s a little big and bulky in our bathroom, but I’d rather have to deal with that than with mold! This thing is [probably quite literally] a life saver.

Works well but not as quiet as described.
This is a well made little dehumidifier. It is small and relatively light. I liked the feature of turning off the fan when the desired humidity setting is reached.... However, I have four other dehumidifiers: 2 2015 Frigidaires and 2 2022 Mideas. Using a decibel [sound level] app on my Galaxy S22, I found that the hOmelab unit was no where near as quiet as the 33db stated in the product description. On the lowest speed, it averaged around 43db in a room with it sitting on carpet. The Old Frigidaires averaged 52 db and the Mideas averaged 47db using the same conditions and sound level app. Decibel levels are logarithmic. Thus the hOmelab unit tested about 10 times as loud as listed in the description. Perhaps in an anechoic chamber, the 33db rating might be possible, but not in the "real world." The phone might not be scientifically accurate, but offered a common sense basis of comparison.

Works well
I gave 5 stars for quality of dehumidifying power. The product needs some minor improvement; for example, the water bucket doesn’t come off easily so sometimes a little water gets spilled when you try to pull out the bucket. Edit: I've had this for 9 months. I noticed it wasn't working properly and I was seeing an error code "E3". I contacted the seller whom informed me the error code was indicating a faulty thermostat. The company/seller has very good customer service. They sent me a new unit since it was still under one year warranty.
