I give this 5 stars because my husband loves these shorts. He's 6'0" about 170, and I ordered him a Large--they fit him great. His biggest pluses: bottom of the legs fall just below the knee and they're made of super breathable yet seemingly super durable material. A couple things other buyers might want to know are (1) these aren't lined with any other material (in case you care about that), and (2) the leg holes seem kind of skinny compared with other shorts (My husband has skinny legs, so they look good on him. Most of his shorts have larger leg holes that make his legs look even skinnier. That said, if you're a guy with "tree trunk thighs", these may not fit you as well).

I am used to baggier clothes but these fit in the waist as described. They are a bit tight in the legs but they do have a "give" to them when moving around. I removed the balls on the strings; not my style. It is a nice material and the wife likes them so I guess that is all that really matters.

Go a size or 2 up

The legs of the shorts were too big. The material also felt thinner that I thought it would be.

My wife hates these, as they are very casual, but I love them for just relaxing around the house.

I love these shorts. They seem durable and they fit great.
