These lights are perfect for plants. Have a lemon tree now for 5 years and is starting to bloom. Even have a tiny lemon starting. This light has helped so much.

These work fine, but are really tough to seat a bulb into because my very average sized hands hardly fit into the tube. Now I see why it’s better to spend a few bucks more and get the 2-piece ones.

They're built really sturdy out of thick metal, and the produce light!They came with extra bulbs, and I was curious to see if the other one was different, so I twisted the already-installed bulb out to look, and it's the same. This then immediately highlighted a HUGE problem with this design. I have been struggling for the last hour to reinstall the bulb, and there is just not enough room to get your hand inside to line up the two bayonet pins. I unscrewed the feet thinking it would let the bottom drop out to service the bulb, but no.These are one-time use. DO NOT remove the bulb, or you can plop the entire thing right in the trash.I got these because they use a replaceable bulb, so I wouldn't have to just throw them out when they fail. So much for that... Why not make the feet hold in a removable bottom plate? Why not use an MR-16 instead of a GU-10, so people would have a chance at being able to replace the bulb? Such a disappointment...
