This was a 2-family gift to our parents. It’s a huge upgrade to their old small frame. Everyone who’s seen it already says they want to get one now too—myself included. The frame is not cheap looking. It’s beautiful. Looks & feels well made. The photos look fantastic, bright and clear. Lots of setting options, including an adjustment for vertical photos to fit the frame just right. The app is just ok, but not too complicated to add photos and set up sharing. Definitely recommend especially if you’re looking for a thoughtful, meaningful, wow gift.

My mom (88) can do email. She has a flip phone. She doesn't text. She has no "smart" device we can easily send pics too other than attaching pics to emails. The app is easy to use (she does not have to do anything on the app). My sister and I can send new pics to her frame anytime we want. New memory at home... open the app... select the pic... send to her frame. Holiday party... open the app... select the pics... send to her frame. She is besides herself seeing new pics go on rotation. The resolution is great and the ease of dropping new pics to her is awesome. I did have to sign up for a "plus" account in order to create a backup of the frame. This also allows me to select unlimited pics in once session to upload. If you don't update to the frameo+ account you can only upload 10 pics at a time. Not a big deal. I just wanted the ability to backup/recover her frame just in case we have to replace it. My sister who uploads pics 10 at a time does not have to upgrade to the + account.. I only did that because I wanted a backup of the device. Bottom line... it's a brainless iPad that has a nice display and does a slidshow of pics. The app is what makes this unique in how easy it is for family members to upload pics to her frame. You can also add an "admin" account to the frame. This allows you to manage the pics and also manage who can send pics to the frame. Perfect gift.

Perfect for a gift! I ordered these as gifts for my family for Christmas and preloaded them with photos and they stole the show. The photo quality is surprisingly good and it was very easy to use. The touch screen aspect was nice also, you can swipe through the photos or just let it play on a slideshow.

I purchased this digital frame but the first unit didn’t power up. I requested a replacement and received a working one promptly—great service! The replacement works perfectly and meets expectations. Overall, a good digital frame. Thanks to both Amazon and the seller for the quick resolution. One suggestion for Frameo: please consider offering a battery-powered version. It would eliminate cord clutter and give users the freedom to place the frame anywhere, not just near a power outlet.
