Purchased this for the side-light windows next to our front door. Before, anyone coming to the door could look directly in to the house which was not great! We did not want blinds or a curtain or anything like that and found this reeded film to be the perfect solution. I used a piece of masonite (you could use cardboard or whatever) to make a cutting template that was just slightly smaller than the glass itself and used that to pre-cut all the pieces of film BEFORE applying them which worked out great and made the job much easier. Because of the small size of the windows, it would have been impossible to cut the film oversize and then try to trim during the install. With the film in place, you can still see someone outside the door but the image is very distorted which is perfect. We did leave the top and bottom windows uncovered as unless you are 7+ feet tall or laying on the ground you cannot see into the house. We received a lot of compliments from the neighbors who were also looking for a solution and now they have one. Great product, easy to install using a template and looks great.

I like the fact that you can trim it to fit different size window. It can also be reused. I went from dayshift to night shift, back to dayshift, back to nightshift again. Finally back to dayshift. I was able to put it up and take it back down as necessary.

This film is not easy to work with having sticky stuff on backside makes it ridiculous to get all the bubbles out. The kind that uses static cling is a much better choice. After spending about half an hour trying to get the bubbles out I took it off and threw it away. The more you work with it the worse it gets. A waste of twenty dollars

East to apply gives us just Thea out if privacy we were looking for and still allows the light to come through…. great purchase

I actually had to return them because I did not purchase the correct size and then I just use curtains instead

Very nice reeded film. Not frosted, just blurs image from the reeds.

I used this on an antique barrister bookcase. I wanted the glass doors to be less see thru to hide all the clutter inside. This was the perfect answer. Take your time when installing and make sure the glass in perfectly clean. It was a little tricky to get it on just right and it took me a couple tries. It wasn't quite wide enough for my needs but I was able to piece it, and while it still isn't perfect It is good enough for my needs, the picture really magnifies the flaws... it does look better in person. I didn't want something that would be difficult to remove on an antique piece. I installed this about 8 months ago and it is still holding well.

Looked so good to start, but came off in about 48 hours. Not sure if it had something to do with it, but seemed to come loose the second the weather changed. It dropped to be very cold overnight and the film peeled off.

Great addition to our pantry cabinet. Pretty easy to install, use plenty of water on the glass and film when applying. I recommend the packaging to include two or even three stickers to help remove adhesive backing. The seller provided a follow up email after purchase with more information on how to install.
