Beginners Guide to Antiques and Collectibles

This book met all of my expectations! I loved the format and detailed pictures. It has given me some great ideas!

I like to go to thrift stores and antique stores and found this book very beneficial and useful. The book is very well written and organized.

I was really disappointed in this book. It’s all pictures and no information whatsoever.

This book was extremely informative and helped me make some decisions when cleaning out my parent’s house when the downsized their home. Great photography and lots of history about various antiques is included in her book. She’s a great resource for anyone who is a novice with antique collecting.

I bought this book to help me start sorting through my parents’ house. My mom inherited a fair amount of china and glassware, and other unique items that I thought had some value, and this book helped me discern the pieces to keep and the pieces to take to the antique resale store. The book says it is a beginner’s guide, and I was definitely a beginner. I was able to go to the antique reseller with enough knowledge and confidence to know what I had. Thank you for compiling this book!

I was very disappointed with this book. I follow the author on Facebook and she has lots of good information to share. When she talked about this book I immediately purchased it but found it useless. Yes it does have lots of photographs of antiques and collectibles but nothing is identified as whether it is of any value. There is no information about how to sell how to maintain how to collect. It’s just a bunch of pictures.I probably did not read the description well enough to understand this, but it was definitely a disappointment for me.

It really is a good start to learning about what is valuable. I enjoyed the book very much.

I followed her on social media, loved the content and noticed she had this book; although I am a reseller and know a lot about certain antiques, you can never know enough! This book is chocked full of information! And for the price, you can’t beat it!
