I have another pair of much older version and it lasted for more than 10 years. When it was time to replace my worn old pair, I decided to give a try on this newer version.Unlike my old pair which was made from durable canvas with leather covered majority of the area, this new version is made from synthetic and only has leather covered some key area.I was concerned about the quality. After these months of use, this newer version proofs itself. Now I prefer this new pair over my older one for its light-weight and flexibility

Love these. Great quality and durable. Easy to clean and dont smell after a few uses. If you work out regularly I highly recommend these.

Harbinger used to make the best gloves in the business, and I used to wear them exclusively for weight training. They were all leather and fit great. The newer versions are made a cheap materials that don't feel as good on the hand and don't fit well. For example, the thumb slots are way too tight and very hard to remove. It is such a shame to see that the products from this manufacturer, which used to be so wonderful, have gone down hill so much. Sadly, if you look at the reviews from other consumers you will see I am not the only one who has realized this. Lots of old school lifters, who remember the way Harbinger's used to be made, are searching for alternatives that are similar to the old Harbinger gloves. Update: The Trideer gloves are a good substitute for the old Harbinger gloves, and I also bought and like the ihuan gloves, although not as much as the Trideers.

Have tried 8 different gloves for lifting heavy weight training / Body building. The no slip claim, is not accurate, heavy bar weight slips. 75 years old, weight train with up to 160% of my body weight, these gloves do not keep the bar from slipping.
