I have sensitive skin so this was a great find as it's SLS free. Great smell and lathers up my big beard very well. Leaves my beard wonderfully soft, feels like a quality product and reasonable priced too.

This beard shampoo makes a solid first impression by being presented in an attractive green, simple bottle, with a travel-friendly pop-cap style of lid - meaning I can pop it in my gym bag and it doesn’t take up too much space and I can also be relatively assured of it not leaking or spilling out. The scent is quite earthy and woody - which is quite nice for beards - you don’t often want anything too sweet or sickly around your beard as it gives a bit of a cognitive disconnect to your senses - you want the scent to be not too overpowering, yet clean, fresh, and not of something foodstuff-related ideally. Consistency is good and you can get some lather going, but it’s not a heavy or thick lather. It washes out as well as you’d expect, and so far is leaving my beard in good condition, and perhaps most importantly I have not yet noticed any skin dryness or irritation - something that anyone with a beard will tell you is sometimes quite the bother - especially if you haven’t quite worked out what your sensitivity might be triggered by. So far so good, and I like that they promote that they use natural ingredients. This is one for my radar for future purchases.

As someone who has sensitive skin, I was drawn to this shampoo via mass internet searches, based on it being one of thr sulphate-free available products out there. Firstly I wasnt expecting applying such a small amount would create the amount of foam that it did, I imagine this bottle will last a good while, which is good value for money. Secondly how clean and smooth my beard looks and feels is next to none... I also apply Murdock London beard conditioner as well and the combination is great. Switching to these two my beard doesn't curly as much or dry out, and my skin no longer cracks and dries out looking like seborrheic dermatitis.

Fairly certain my beard feels softer now, combining this with the Horace beard oil, compared to the L’Oréal barber club shampoo I used before. Smells good and just feels more premium to be honest.

Bottle lid came broken. Very disappointing as i wanted to use this to take in my gym bag. Pointless buy now. Pictures are attached!
