The double-sided opening is super convenient - no more awkward reaching over to unlatch it from the other side. The built-in key lock is a nice touch, saves me from fiddling with a separate padlock. Installation wasn't too bad, though I did have to re-read the instructions a couple times. It fits my wooden gate well, and the black finish looks sleek. The polymer and stainless steel construction seems durable - no rust so far, even after a few rainstorms. I like that it's adjustable - had to fiddle with it a bit to get the alignment just right, but now it closes smoothly. The spring-loaded mechanism works well, gives a satisfying click when it latches. Now for the not-so-great bits. The keys feel a bit flimsy - I'm worried they might bend if I'm not careful. The lock can be a bit stiff in cold weather. And while it's great for keeping my dog in the yard, a determined person could probably still climb over. The gap range is decent, but if your gate posts are really far apart, you might need to get creative. Overall, it's been a good upgrade from my old latch. Easy to install, but hard to lock and unlock after installation ,the key for lock doesn’t turn easy

Appears to be well made. Latch resists closing so slam it a bit or add Never Seize.Couple of tips. Ha a flat plate installed that is removed by rotating counter clockwise five degrees and wiggling it off. Using wood mounts, you'll need about 3/4 inch gap to accommodate the side mount feature. The Spring return needs a 1/2 hole drilled all the way through. The set screw on the small ferrule is hard to get on through the spring. Some screws are for a metal fence, some for wood. Be sure the pull wire hole is centered on the latch when in place, about 3/4 inch from edge.

Lock is easy to install sturdy issue with the cable coming back. Don't put it from the inside. It's very cheap. I already broken two of them.
