It doesn't taste like a vanilla bean, but it does taste pretty good! I like to use mostly regular matcha latte powder and then about a half a scoop (one tsp) of this powder to add the vanilla flavor. A little goes a long way with this powder!

Super delicious, it's definitely my favorite. I adore the brand, it's perfect, great flavor, delicious aroma. I recommend it without hesitation. I've bought several from other brands and even other flavors, but none compare to the vanilla one.

I really enjoy Jade Leaf's lightly sweetened matcha powder, and have ordered it a few times in the last year or so, so when I saw they had new flavors I wanted to try one. This one tastes good, and if you like sweet matcha you will enjoy it, but I also felt that the vanilla flavor overpowers the matcha? It also doesn't taste quite like vanilla matcha drinks I've had in the past, maybe a little sweeter. I think if they had marketed it as a birthday cake flavor, it would have been more accurate to the actual taste. Again, I personally enjoy the flavor and will be drinking the rest of it, but I would recommend just sticking to the plain matcha and adding a bit of your own sweetener if you just want a bit of extra flavor. I do appreciate that this mix doesn't have a ton of sugar though.

Been buying and drinking this for months! We are a family with celiac, lactose intolerance, and nightshade allergies. It’s hard to get a product that tastes great while meeting all of those restrictions. It’s smooth, sweet, and dissolves wonderfully.

There are some amazing vanilla matchas out there (junbi) but this one is yucky. It’s actually offensive. I absolutely adore the matcha latte from this brand and thought the vanilla from the same brand would be good. Boy, I was beyond wrong. I’m also the idiot who bought two and I can’t return the other one as I can’t drop off at an ups. I have to hunt down a Whole Foods. No one has time for that. I’m stuck with grossness in two bags.

Overly sweet, still requires milk, weak matcha flavor. I would def recommend just getting the matcha from this brand instead of the latte.

It don’t provide me with enough energy as other matcha powders. The vanilla taste was mild compared to the “grass” taste of matcha. I’ve definitely had better.

It is okay, quite expensive for contents. It’s good for iced matchas, I’ve never made it hot so i can’t speak on that.
