I love this simple storage solution for getting toy cars off the floor. Only down side is, doorways are high, so the product hangs above the reach of my 4 year old child. Also wish there was a few compartments for the larger "monster truck" style Hot Wheels.

These make it super simple to store and access hot wheels and matchbox cars. Easy to see what cars are located in case you need to find a specific one. Just make sure the closest rod is stout enough to hold several pounds of cars on a single hanger!!! 😉

It seems more often than not, I use items for something other than what they are intended for. This organizer is no different. SMILES__I am using this organizer as a holder for numbered post cards in each of the 42 clear pockets. A number is chosen by my online party guests and they win the corresponding prize -which is written on the back of the card. It works like a charm for that purpose__As for its intended purpose: I'm sure it would work well for storing die cast cars since the pockets are a bit over 3 inches wide by almost 2 1/2 inches tall. However the pockets are not very spacious (front to back) so there is not much room within the pocket. I had no toy cars to test this idea but I'm sure the small hot wheel type cars would easily fit, but not sure that the bigger vehicles such as trucks and vans would be easily retrieved by little hands__The quality seems to be good and the vinyl is thick enough that I don't think it will fall apart with normal use. There are two L-shaped hooks which may be placed over the top of a door, but I have opted to thread hook and loop ties (they are actually meant for neatly holding cords), but this works wonderfully for my needs. By using the strips of hook and loop tape there is no damage from a metal hook which may scratch the surface it is lying against. That is a suggestion in case you may choose to use the organizer where it may be attached this way. NOTE: I have my organizer attached to a rolling cart, so it is easily accessed__BOTTOM LINE: I would definitely choose this item again
