Work for what I use them for
These are working out good for me so far. I have had other trail cams that get rained on then stop working. These have held up so far. I still have them out and it is wintertime here in Wisconsin. Easy to set up with the QR code. I have the Stealth app already so it was easy for me. I feel the quality of picture if fine for what I need it for. I hunt and also watch wildlife on my 40 acres. I like to see if I have predators around. When it is very cold out the AA batteries last a few weeks or so depending on how many pictures it is taking. I don't use the straps it comes with, I opt for the screw in type of mounting system. If you are just starting out these are a good camera to start with, not super expensive and if you are only using them before hunting I feel you don't need the top of the line trail cams. Just my opinion.

Clear pictures
A great camera with clear pictures in any light level, and no issues with cell service, at a great price.

Takes pictures with no apparent trigger, didn't work for me
Camera takes one or two pictures per minute with no apparent movement triggering the camera. The pictures are of nothing, but it quickly eats up your upload limit and burns through batteries (16 AA in three days). I contacted customer support and they said to turn down the sensitivity, I did that and got the same result. I've reached out again asking for a refund this time and they want me to set the camera up facing a wall to see if it truly is broken or just how their cameras perform. I may still do this if I find an abundance of time to waste, but for now I'm just going to look for a better camera. My situation was exacerbated by the fact that I'm setting this camera up to monitor a trail 1.5 hours away from my house, that's why I bought a camera with cellular connectivity. So you can imagine how annoying it is to drive up on the weekend to set up a camera that you expect to get weeks of remote monitoring out of only to have it takes thousands of pictures of nothing and burn through the batteries in two or three days. Then I have to look for another day I can spend 4 hours driving and playing with the camera just to troubleshoot the camera.

Good Enough for My Purpose
I have had this cam in use for only a week, so this is review will be updated as time goes on. CONS: Did not come with a manual. One has to go online and get it. If you want any settings other than default, you will not be able to set those up on the app just by guessing which icon does what. Unfortunately, the company did not provide that link with the camera packaging. For those who prefer not to hunt for it: www.stealthcam.com. I didn't get a good answer from Tech Support on a question that involved battery power. BTW, customer support is outsoursed from the U.S. I asked why the camera requires 16 AA batteries which equals 24V, but their rechargeable lithium battery is only 12 volts. That makes me assume that two of these expensive lithium batteries are required. The back of the case has two loops. I assume they were intended to be used to run a wire cable thru them so that you might prevent someone from stealing it if left unattended. Good idea, bad design. The loops are the same plastic that the camera housing is made of. A common Dyke tool would cut thru the plastic easily. Should have had some metal surface on the inside of the loops to make that more difficult. PROS: Although I do hunt, my use of this camera is not for game detection. I am using it as a security device on my rural property. After setting up my preferences manually, the camera works well for that purpose. I get good pixs that record driveway traffic to include an easily read license plate. Plus, it is way less expensive as devices that are labeled "wireless security cameras". And when deer season rolls around, I can reposition the camera to do game detection. This may or may not be a CON but will mention it. The nearest cell tower is Verizon. I get anywhere between 3-10 second delay between the camera triggering and a picture appearing on my cell. That may be due to the fact that my carrier is neither Verizon or ATT. If used for game detection, I doubt that delay would be an issue. One star less for the CONS.
