buy these if you have small pets
These are great - they are a high quality scissor, seem to hold up well after a few uses, and the dogs don't lose their mind when they see the scissor coming. I use this to touch up groom my 3 dogs in between "major" grooms - usually around their faces, crusty food beards, romps and rolls in seed pod patches(why guys, why!!?), eye gross, rogue hairs and ear hairs. They are sharp and safe at the same time. The ends are blunt enough to use around their faces yet small enough to get to the 'nooks' that you want to trim. I highly recommend this for anyone with small pets. They are also stainless steel and don't look like they will rust after a while, AND they apparently have a lifetime guarantee! I have short fat fingers and the holes are a good size. I would probably get blisters if I used them for a long period of time but these are not what these are meant for. Also, there is a curve to the blade to help get around faces and eyes and their little wee-wees (have you ever had a dog get a giant spiky seed pod stuck to their pee-pee?? that is not fun to remove)

Extremely sharp and safe pet scissor
I like using these scissors on the inside paws of my dog and cat. The blunted head and small size makes these scissors extremely easy and safe to use. The quality is as expected for a Tweezerman product (very good). I have used these for months now and they are still very sharp and durable.

Easy to Use for Paws, Good Size and Weight
Ordered these shears primarily to trim the tops of my dogs' paws. I'm not a pro, so maybe there are features I don't realize I'm missing out on. But these are great for my purposes. The 7" size is really easy to handle, and they seem to be the perfect size for the paws I'm working on (Australian Shepherds). They cut cleanly and easily, and I feel safe using them. They're a little expensive ($29.90 at the time of my purchase). But if you've been shopping for this type of item, you know you could spend much more. This is probably the only pair I'll ever need to buy. I'm really happy with the purchase for personal use.

Good size.
Good small scissors. Don’t count on getting your knuckle through the opening. Sharp and easy to use safely.

Must have!
I bought these over a year ago and have used them a ton! I live in the country and my dogs get burrs and other things stuck in their hair year round. These have been the perfect tool to get them out of their fur even when they are very close to the skin, you can cut small parts of the hair off to loosen it up so you don't cut the skin. Im getting another pair as a back up and I've probably dulled mine with all he dirt and grime over time but i cant tell it, they still work wonderfully! I can't be without them. Me and my dogs thank Tweezerman!

Easy and safe to use
These are easy to use and you feel safer since they do not have the sharp end. We trim our Schitzu's faces in between grooming with these.
