Tredaire red is just the perfect underlay. Have used it 15 years ago and this purchase was to replace the old stuff. Guess what - the older underlay was still perfect. My son has now benefited from the longevity of this product. Thick, heavy, soft, sound insulating... much better quality and price than quoted by the carpet sheds on the local retail parks.Installer was impressed, even though he struggled a bit with the weight. He was happy enough after good tea and a tip ;-)
