It's great for accessing the internet
It's beautiful and works great. I only use it to read websites associated with online content in class. The touchpad works great as a touchpad but the number keypad mode does not work correctly, at all. I tried everything but it seems to still be in touchpad mode even when the number pad mode light is lit. ASUS feel free to send me a substitute, and I'll amend this review. I do my math on my desktop so I don't need a number pad anyway.

Slow
Extremely slow, can’t have more than 3 tabs open at a time….disappointing, it is slim and lightweight

HORRIBLE 'Laptop'
This is an overpriced Chromebook that freezes every 2-3 seconds. My job fired me because of how horrible this laptop is.Do you have work to do on one of these? Too bad! Your laptop will freeze and shut down if you have more than one application downloaded onto it!Do not get this laptop if you have schoolwork, work, want to browse a website, look at any social media, or even write an email. And don't even attempt to stream video! I have had this laptop less than TWO MONTHS and it has created so much stress and anxiety that I can't even open it anymore.

Manage your expectations
It's important to remember that when you're getting a new (not refurbished, not pre-owned) computer at this price point, you are not getting a top-of-the-line system, and you shouldn't expect it to perform like a "slightly slower gaming laptop." If you primarily use a web browser for most of your computing, but don't want to be constrained with Google's ChromeOS, this computer will probably serve your needs.Don't expect fluid video-chats, instant webpage rendering, or good gaming frame rates (this computer would only be good for casual gaming at best). If none of the software you MUST use for school/business requires Windows, I'd suggest this: consider wiping Windows entirely and installing a version of Linux. I think even the most bloated versions of Linux will run quite well on this system, and a lightweight distro will give the computer some pep you didn't expect from it. Again, manage your expectations and you'll be satisfied with this computer. This price point is really astounding for what you get.

Slow and poor performance
This did not work for my needs as a student. It is essentially a Chromebook disguised as a computer. Did not support the programs I needed for school (Adobe) unless I changed out of safe mode, which then slowed the whole system down and caused frequent crashes. The battery life was decent and I liked that it was lightweight and easy to transport, but it was not what I needed and I felt it was inaccurately marketed.
