Challenging but worthwhile

Beautiful book bought for my friend as a gift , she was thrilled with it. Lovely colour images

I have yet to be disappointed with a Taschen art book, to be honest. I sort of stumbled across them (yeah, I'm out of touch with such things) a few months back while researching one particular artist. I now have more than 100 titles, mostly used examples as they make collecting these doable financially. I have a history of art 'o' level from four decades ago and these books have rekindled my passion for the subject.

Quite small size publication. Lovely quality prints and interesting comments.

Really detailed book about Klimt. Lots a gorgeous colour plates of his paintings. Lovely!

Amazing book and amazing company

I guess the smallish size of this book is convenient, but I think I might have enjoyed it more if I had purchase a larger format edition.
