Very good product and service

It is quite nice product but Coocking progress are almost useless. By default it uses highest power level that causes brust cooking items. I need to level down the power every time. And it is not silent.

Stopped working after 7 years. My previous Electrolux microwave worked for 13 years before it's magnetron was replaced. Now my old repair Electrolux has replaced the IFB in the ktichen which meanwhile waits for an expensive repair. Let's see..

Ifb products are known for their quality and so it has maintained. Have used this product for 4 years after which it hit a snag. Warranty got expired hence part replacement coverage is not included. Both the inside plastic door frame started melting because of a faulty microwave filter sheet. We were not aware that it was making our food poisonous. Hence called service to fix instead of buying a new product. Mind, am staying in Bengaluru and not some tier-2/3 cities. It has been 2 weeks and still no news of the repair. Every other days’ followup, u will be given assurance that it will be fixed by eod or before 6pm. After 6 pm the service people will not pickup and cycle continues the next day. Since I have waited for 2 weeks hence no point waiting longer. Buying a new product from a new brand and throwing the Ifb one in dustbin as it doesn’t makes sense to sell in second hand market and neither local person can fix it. ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS YOU ARE SEEING ARE OF RECENT PURCHASE AND NOBODY BOTHERS TO REVIEW AFTER 4-5 years. IFB doesn’t have good after sales service associates. Same I faced with machine machine but i ignored. Since I am facing the same this microwave, never purchasing Ifb again. Samsung has much better service. Moral of the whole incident: IFB products are kind of use and throw. Don’t expect to use it beyond the warranty period once it have a issue as they mostly keep the parts of running products. Once your warranty is over by that time Ifb too mostly phase out. And these is not one of instance. Same happened with the washing machine which ran for 5 years and when it hit a snag the service people delayed saying part not available for a month. After that got a new product.
