You want to keep it slightly open (the lid sitting on the top of the latch) to help to raise the efficiency of drying by getting rid of the evaporated moisture, instead just mostly let it to circulate with the air in the almost fully closed system. Once the drying cycle over, close it, and let the silica gel sachets that you placed on the dedicated compartments to help to keep everything dry. Fortunately it will dry the silica gel as well in the next cycle, so don't need to replace them.All together I'm happy with the purchase, but the manual should be updated with the gap.And never going to understand why the number of the rolls multiply the price, since mostly just the box getting bigger, not the heater, fan, screen, etc..

I was drawn to this brand after reading many positive reviews from other owners. I initially bought one earlier last in 2024 and after being impressed with how it performed I decide to buy my second dryer.The price has always been marketed right and I believe it is a value for money product.The temperature range allows for heating at 40c to 50c. You can load two spools of filament rolls if they have a diameter of 60mm, if the diameter is bigger the dryer will only accommodate one filament spool!To reduce stringing, moisture levels and bed adhesion problems. I use the digital program to set the drying time and I also maintain drying during the printing process for better print results. The simplistic functionality of the dryer makes it user friendly and the clear bright LCD helps maintain visual awareness of progress from a distance.The motor sound recorded at an average of 49db. When the printers are running the fan noise is not noticeable. I particularly like the 4 filament outlet positions, this one a key point in my consideration for purchase.Overall this has been a really functional and cost effective addition to my stock and I am a very happy owner!

This product is a waste of money, the max temp of 50 isn't reached, doesn't even reach 40 when you're set to 50..Build quality is what you'd expect from a product at this price point which make it even unworthy of its amazing packaging which that earns it 5/5* but beyond that its just disappointment.I tried it with a roll of okish TPU with no results, then went overnight with a roll of petg that's so wet it prints brittle.. not even a slither of condensation on the enclosure..The temperature readings of it's actual circulating air (it has a fan to push the air around) is more than 10⁰c lower than what it states, humidity as well.I had it open for over an hour with the lid up before I used it and it was already stating 3* or so lower than my room temperature and humidity significantly lower as well.It was saying 45 relative humidity with 22⁰c when my room never goes bellow 55, It's constantly around 60 even reaching 65+.My hygrometer was stating 26⁰ with about 58 humidityI had it on for a couple of hours then moved socket and tried again. After 3+ hours again set to 50⁰c it was reading 50⁰c woth actual being 38 and humidity 19% with actual being 35%I emailed their customer support and was top my reader being places half way up in the box was wrong as:"Our temperature and humidity detection instruments are inside the machine, so the detected values are different from yours. Please put your detector at the bottom of the machine and test it again to see if there is such a large error in the detection result?"So basically they're measuring the temperature and humidity of the heating element not the air circulating inside the machine realistically. Major design flaw.And to clarify, my reader WAS INSIDE jammed between the roll of fillament and clear top half.
