NOW TV UYH98 Smart Stick with HD & Voice Search

This works as it should but it is very fiddly to get it up and running, it took me two to three hours to work it out. Another thing I should mention is that it comes without instructions as I found out , it is not new someone else has had it I hadn’t realised that when I bought it. It is working fine now and it’s useful for watching films or catching up with missed programs.

This was so easy to set up on my TV, picture is very good and after no TV from 10th August, due to Bilsdale mast fire, it was so nice to be able to watch tv again, Well worth the money,

Very impressed with this NOW TV Smart Stick, mine came with a one month Cinema pass. Installing was quite easy, I followed the instructions to the letter, with my TV off I plugged in the stick into my spare HDMI socket, then connected the power supply to the stick. Powered up the TV, installed the batteries in the remote and started on the stick's installation. It took a few minutes, connecting to my Wifi, remote shaking hands with the TV and so on. I had to break out my Tablet to get a code from the company website and input it. I discovered that the remote control will operate the volume on my TV and also the power button, nice touch! As I'm already an subscriber to NowTV via an APP on my tablet I had programs set up for me to watch. I spent over four hours watching a program, 4 back to back episodes of a show and at the end of each one I was given the option of simply watching the next episode. Due to a lack of information from the paperwork given and the company website I feel I am working blind, I don't know if you are suppose to keep the power on for the stick at all times. I'm using my own judgement and I've turned off the power to the stick and will turn it on later to see what happens. I would also like to know what will happen if I remove the stick and use it in another TV. AN FAQ which is easy to find would be nice. Due to lack of information I've only given 4 stars. Even with a weak WiFi signal I am able to watch programs without any problems, I've been streaming from my PC to the TV for weeks now so I was confident I wouldn't suffer problems with the stick. Overall I'm delighted with the stick and the chance to watch shows on my Main TV instead of a tablet, it was a logical move. Update, the batteries don't last long in the remote, order a supply of AAA batteries.

I bough the stick as sold as brand new and it was clearly used plugged it in set it up until I got to the except user and license agreement and kept saying error, I tried every possible option and still nothing, absolute disgrace for listing it as brand new in the 1st place and secondly it didn’t even work as the computering system was clearly out of date. Requested a return and refund immediately.

My now stick was perfect though sold as used.Im delighted and it also saved me some money.Thankyou.

The Now TV Smart Stick arrived very quickly. I unpacked it, read the instructions, slotted it into the back of my TV, signed in to Now TV, and off we went. No problems at all, and I don't need a socket as I can plug the cables in my HDMI and USB outlets and it works great. Good picture, sound and more discreet than my old box.

Hi, I am 88 and made a bit of a hash of trying to set it up. The NOW team did their best to help me, but in the end I had my local T/V man come and do it for me. It is working very well ( I have Sport only at the moment) including the voice recognition, probably because I have an up to date T/V. I have the BT system, and it certainly saves ripping that all out to install full Sky system. Terry K.

Non mi è piaciuto niente chiede di inserire il codice dal telefono ma non si connette. Lingua solo inglese e non si riesce a vedere niente in quanto da now non viene riconosciuto come dispositivo. Oltre 90 euro per una roba del genere è un furto bello e buono. Sarà sicuramente un reso
